LS2 Swift Leather Gloves - Black / Neon Yellow

I bought these gloves for general use when worn with a jacket rather than leathers & chose hi-viz yellow for hand signals as I've no indicators on the old bike. The build quality is good & the design is very close to my Alpine Stars race gloves that I paid more for over twenty years ago. I would summarise these gloves as very good in all respects & perfect for appropriate or inappropriate hand signals!! Recommended & good value for money.

Bought for the colour - Flouro yellow seems to be going out of fashion. Not as immediately comfortable as my RST gloves. Sizing is a bit odd. I wear S/7 but the sizing guide for these says I need L! Tried L, actually needed M. The vents in the fittings appear to be dummy, there is more ventilation from stitch holes than the holes in the finger guards. Only worn for a short while, more bedding in needed.

Great gloves, wrist strap does come out of buckle when removing but no issues.

These gloves offer better protection, 2KP, than nearly all other brands of glove, regardless of price. They are my favourite gloves, I have 2 pairs now.
The fit is good with fingers of the correct length for me, they are difficult to get on & off but so they should be be & once broken in, they are excellent. Sizing is fairly accurate, I take size L in A/stars, size M in these. If you want serious protection & great value, these are the best option

I bought these after my RST faithful gloves split after many years of use and the LS2's were mentioned in Ride magazine. Tight fit and hoping they wear in, well made. Only niggles are the Velcro strap keeps coming out of the loop , just as I've put the other glove on so I have to take it off to feed it back through. Need to stick it on when I take them off so it doesn't happen.

I bought these gloves on the basis of the safety rating (level 2 KP) and also that they were cheaper than most other maker's level 1 KP gloves. I ordered a small size and they are cosy at first (especially on the little finger) but have got much more comfortable after a couple of rides. After all, they are not going to get any smaller over time. The velcro strap fastenings seems heavy duty and the wrist strap can be pulled tight without the ring turning round. So far I'm really pleased with the gloves. Coming back to the safety rating of level 2 KP, I only found this out from an American website as SBS do not mention this at all. It would be good if the CE safety ratings were displayed for all items (please) and not just for larger items like jackets etc. Overall 5 stars for the gloves and the great service from SBS.

I'M NOT a slim 22yr old Spanish rider and I've struggled to find a sports glove, with good protection, to fit my chunky, short fingered hands. These gloves tick all the boxes for me... Elasticated cuffs!!! Generous velcro fastenings for over leathers. Quality leather & stitching. Great design plus a V-wipe built into the left thumb. And at a fabulous price too!

Exchange of faulty (and coincidentally wrong size) was well handled, if a bit slow in delivery. Measurement indicated a Large, fit dictates an Extra Large. Gloves fit the hand well and are good to put on and to secure. The linked pinkie reveals that I use three fingers on the levers and now have to let the pinky follow its neighbour - I'm geting used to it. A full 250 mile day was completely comfortable for their first use. Build quality is excellent, and fit over my fabric jacket sleeve is good. Well pleased.

2-KP safety and excellent fitting coming at £70 using the price match option of SBS! It doesn't get more textbook value for money case!
Fitting was great from the start and after 2 weeks use is perfect. That being said, better use the "order and try" SBS system to buy them. The thumb in the left glove of my L sized gloves was longer than the XL sized ones!
It feels like riding without wearing gloves and I haven't any problem getting cold or warm hands in a dry day. Driving in heavy rain doesn't bring the best out of them but there are no surprises there for a pair of leather gloves that offer plenty of ventilation.

Initially based on sizing chart ordered XL, which were too small, so consider going up a size. Now in 2XL.
Bought these as they are practically the only CE2 rated gloves at this price point.
Seem very well constructed, leather soft right out of the bag, wrist strap long enough to close properly. No loose stitching on seams (i've seen this on other higher priced gloves)
Some rubbing from internal seams initially (Around left thumb where visor wipe is, and very top of little finger on both hands) Seems to be lessening significantly as gloves break in.

I'd like to see Sports Bike Shop (who cannot be faulted for customer service) allow us to come back and update reviews after a few months as points such as longevity, how an item stands up after using for a while are important and cannot be commented on so close to a purchase.

These gloves seem well made and very protective. Time will tell how they last.

Overall I would recommend.
CE2 rating at this price? Pretty bloody good.

These are comfy gloves and offer the highest level of CE protection available, all for a fabulously low price. Some reviewers have complained about the thumbs, and I find the thumb on my left hand is a bit loose, creating a little friction where the glove meets the hand. I also notice a bit of pressure on the left knuckles from the protective cover, though this doesn't happen on the right hand for me. Could be my left controls need dropping down half an inch on that bike, as the right hand was perfectly comfortable after a full 4 hour ride. Leather and stichting is high quality and the inner glove feels plush and reassuring. Would definitely recommend.

Good Fit, deducted 1 star as thumbs are a little tight but should break-in ok
