Quality gloves

These are well made all leather gloves.They are supple and have a two position wrist strap stud fixing. The wrist is also lightly elasticated. There are hard plastic slider protectors on the heel of the palm. They do look and feel like premium product. I have not worn them yet as they are more of a warm weather glove. I normally fit an XL glove but as these were only available as a 3XL in the sale I took a chance. These fit me perfectly. Great purchase. I recommend them.

I like these Gloves, look great, comfortable and Large fit me great. I brought these as my other gloves make my hand ache because they are a bit stiff while riding, but these are more flexible. They are a bit tight sliding them over my hands, but fit fine once fully on. I have no problem with the snap fastenings at all, were other people said they have. A good Summer Glove.

Really good quality feel and a brilliant fit for me. Comfortable to wear although the popper buttons around the wrist can be a bit fiddly (I'm used to velcro). Slightly nervous about the lack of knuckle armour. Overall a really nice summer glove.

Merlin Stewart glove after 2 weeks

Accurate size for me. Large. Fits snuggly in all places. Worn in temperatures from mid teens to mid 20s and been very comfortable. Soft inside. Reasuringly constructed with padding around the knuckles. Feels a quality item. Very pleased.

Smart vintage summer gloves

Soft good quality hide and workmanship appears very good.
Soft armour is comfortable. Have not done very many miles yet and found throttle hand palm a little bulky at base of fingers but this may sort itself out with more use.
Size small is on tight side and cuff diameter very small compared to all sport riding gloves I have. Overall happy with them and they look great.

Returned due to Design Fault

Impossible to attach wrist stud in the 2nd tighter position and when attached to the 1st stud position a circle of wrist bare skin is exposed, a wasp blown into this area is unthinkable. I have made Merlin aware of this design fault, they seemed uninterested. Such a shame as stitching/leather etc is very good. Sportsbikeshop are brilliant.

Nice looking Gloves

Really nice gloves but more negatives than positives for me I'm afraid. Gloves fit across the palms nicely but are extremely difficult to get on, so getting the second one on would be a pain, a seroius pain!
The other thing being the little finger part of both gloves seemed to be too long for me and I don't believe I have freakishly small little fingers. As usual Sportsbikeshop will refund/exchange without a quibble, fantastic company!
