Superb boots!

Previous boots were Alpinestars Super Tech R's. These boots are easily as good for a much better price. Very well made, quality matches Alpinestars in every aspect. Very comfy for walking around in all day too. I love the colours and styling. Nice touch of carbon fibre too.

Well designed and comfy all day sports boots

I never really get on with any other boots than Alpinestars but these Gaerne boots are very well designed and super comfy boots. Can wear all day long. Soft and supple top of the boot create no pressure points at all even at acute ankle angles when on a high pegged sports bike. The zip and boa retention system is easy to open and close and adds to the perfect fit of the boot overall. Sizing is just over Alpinestars so if you're a 46 Alpinestars the Gaernes will be 47. Would definitely buy again. These are premium priced boots but compared to other high end offerings are well worth the money.

The GP1 Evo is the ultimate racing boot from Gaerne's research centre, developed in cooperation with professional riders. The unique floating system allows the foot to move naturally and prevents ankle twisting. Two rubber inserts on the inner calf and heel provide additional grip and protect the leg from engine/exhaust heat. Adjustable and replaceable BOA IP1 reel enables a custom fit around the calf area. High wear-resistant magnesium toe slider and variable density, oil and wear-resistant rubber sole features a unique design that provides excellent grip.
