Held Baxley Textile Trousers - Black

I originally ordered my usual jeans size (32" waist, 34 leg) but found them just a tad too snug. Not uncomfortable and not enough to really make them ride up too much, but enough to make wearing something under them for extra warmth unlikely.

So I changed them to 34" waist, long leg, slim fit. Now they're just a tad looser than I like but not enough to be an issue. The waist adjustments work well to get over that and I know I could wear something under them if more warmth is needed. Haven't tested them in proper rain yet but the showers I've been caught in have been fine.

Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5:
The OEM warm liner is optional and therefore extra cost. I knew that when buying but I still think it's a bit weird to sell it as an "option". I'm only going to wear these in crappy weather and that often means the extra warmth would be welcome as standard.

The second reasons is a bit picky but.....they're very shiny and a bit rustly. Like waterproof overtrousers. However - compared to my alpinestars (which came with lining and feel great) they don't ride up over my boots and they don't slide about on the seat. That last part in particular is crucial for me.

All in all - well worth buying I think.
