Alpinestars Gravity Drystar Textile Trousers - Black

I can only say good things about these. They are comfy to wear, look great, fit my boots under with ease. And have kept me dry in the rain. I've worn them about 5 times now and 2 of those times it has absolutely chucked it down with rain and not a drop has got through. Great product.
I am usually a 34inch waist, but large did not fit, nor did XL but the XXL fit fine. Try sizing before you by would be my only suggestion

I needed textile trousers to bridge the gap between heavy winter gear and Air Flow I use on warm days. The Alpinestars were the best fit (Of many I tried with help from the excellent & very patient staff at Sportsbike shop MK) and work well on the bikes (GS & Classic). Very happy to recommend.

Simple medium weight trousers to go with my Drystar jacket. Too early to provide a full review, but comfortable to wear and waterproof so far. Minimal features, but that suits me for casual riding and short touring trips.

The trousers looks alright, but there is no removable thermal lining for colder ride.
Or did I misunderstanding the description.?

Waterproof, thermal, i recomend a extra size, i cant complain about it. is just awesome

Tested in a few down pours and they are actually waterproof compared to others where they are more weatherproof not waterproof. Only issue I had was needing the size bigger (due to having large thighs) otherwise I cannot fault them as I am 6ft 3 XL, the length fit great.

This trousers are just perfect for all year round. They're very easy to wear, look nice not baggy also make you feel really comfortable and protected on the bike.

Bought them after owning a pair of a different brand and was surprised by how comfortable and warm they are even at low temperatures with rain. I can only recommend them further!
Also i would give 5 stars for the service and the team, super helpful and flexible when it comes to individual needs!

These are a quality pair of trousers. I wanted a slim fitted pair of trousers and these are perfect.
I bought large and I'm a 34" waist.
I've taken the thermal lining out for now as it's not cold enough for me. Im a daily rider and I've found them very comfortable. I had to loosen the velcro straps on the legs as I found the trousers pinched a bit.
For me these are definitely 5 star

Thermal linings and breather zips are great in cold/wet and hot days.

Added some hip protectors and they fit perfectly in the inserts.

This is my 1st pair of trousers like these ever. I can't say how happy I am... In terms of size, usually on normal jeans I've got 36"/32". I did tried the same size on these but I had to go a size up to XXL (I' not fat...) which will fit perfect (probably just a bit bulky at the bottom but not sure, don't get me wrong, maybe is in my head only). I used them these days when it was hot in UK (approx 25 degree) and I think it was too hot to were them but any other temperature probably below 22, will be perfect (obviously without thermal insulation). I did ride few days when was light showers, not heavy rain but from what I can see, these trousers will never leak. They are fitting perfect with my Alpinestars jacket (I mean the zip will fit perfect with my jacket zip) and are very, very comfortable. Only one thing... probably with a pair of braces will be fitting even better once you have adjust them from velcro.(I will try soon). Highly recommended! Very good quality and a good price from SBS. I will suggest to try them in a SBS Shop as I did it (in MK). Enjoy your new trousers !
