Held Score 4.0 Leather & Textile Gloves - Black

This a well made good quality glove. I bought the large size with short fingers which gave me a close comfortable fit.
These gloves are 100% waterproof straight out the bag. I wore them on a four hour round trip in non-stop rain and my hands stayed completely dry. They are not suitable for winter riding though. The fabric completely wetted out and there is minimal insulation once they're wet. Even with heated grips my hands froze. These are great three season gloves - but if it's wet and cold, wear something with Outlast or similar.

Tried on LOADS of goretex gloves from all the major names before finding these Held gloves. None of them fitted me as the fingers were all way too long. Bought these Held gloves with the short finger option and they fit fine. Quality appears really good. Not worn in the rain yet so cant comment on waterproofing. Sportsbikeshop provided their usual EXCELLENT service.

Bought these Held gloves for a trip to Morocco on my CRF 300 Rally. Perfect fit. Very well made and comfortable. Good feeling to hand grip. Not tried in rain yet, but I trust Goretex will work. Excellent service from SBS as usual. Recommended.

Worn over the weekend on a 6hr part motorway ride in torrential rain, the gloves performed well overall but eventually wetted out after a couple of hours. I don't think any glove would have performed any better given the conditions.
One of the stiched seams on the knuckle started to come apart but didn't actually fail, however a quick call and a coupe of photo's to Sportsbikeshop and the legendary customer services swung into action with the offer of a replacement pair, which I gladly accepted.
Overall a good pair of gloves which I'm sure will get plenty of wear.

I was looking for a pair of gloves between my thickest winter gloves and my vented summer gloves and originally intended to buy a "cheap" pair. However after trying on many gloves instore these were by far the most comfortable so I purchased them. I think they are worth the extra (although there were still more expensive gloves I tried) considering the impressive construction, finish and great fit.

Put straight to the test in torrential rain over 3 days in France.

They are comfortable. Good feel. Easy to work sat nav with gloves on.

Short finger option great for me.

They were as water resistant as any glove and dried out reasonably quickly.

I would buy again. Oh - Held usual quality.

I was looking for gloves I can wear in the UK between April and October, that are waterproof, have a laminated waterproof membrane that won't pull out when removing my hands in damp conditions and, most of all, I wanted comfort and feel. After much research I narrowed my search down to 5 and headed to the Leeds Sportsbikeshop to try some gloves for size and feel. I'm glad I did buy in store, as the sizing between manufacturers is variable, and I even found differences in fit with the same manufacturer. These Held Score 4 gloves tick all my boxes: comfortable, Goretex with Gore-Grip, visor wipe, fastening system that will keep the glove on my hand should the worst happen and really well made from quality materials. Being leather, I know they will mould to my hands even more over time and I've had Held gloves before, so I know they will last. Another thing I like on these gloves is that the scaphoid protection is not a solid slider (as on some other gloves). I've had gloves before with a scaphoid protector that doesn't sit well on the handlebar grip, whereas the Held protector is comfortable and yet has extensive protection and double layers where needed. All in all an excellent product, but do try for size before you buy.

Comfortable, warm, well made gloves.
On my second pair now as the first suffered some damage (although held up well) after hitting a deer.

As I have short fingers I am limited to a few makes that offer the short option.
I have the held air and dry 2 compartment gloves but after a couple of years the waterproof lining won't stay in place. Trying to offer 2 gloves in one doesn't work.
Iam hoping these have the quality and fit without the downsides.
So far so good.

Must have tried on over 15 pairs of gloves across various brands before settling on these. Great fit, flexibility and comfort. Can't comment on waterproofing, but having owned a pair of Held Air n Dry gloves for the last 8 years I'm sure these will be waterproof and last well. I doubt they would do the job on cold winter rides, more insulation needed for that, but they'll make a great 3 season touring glove.

Really well built protective gloves. Really good fit for wide palms and shorter fingers because you can choose the finger length. They fit under or over cuffs so work with my leather and cordura jackets. Not cheap, but worth it.

Got these a couple of weeks ago and I am extremely happy with them so far.
Extremely comfortable and you can never go wrong with HELD quality. Not been in sustained rain yet but hands have stayed dry during the few showers that I have been through in the last 1000 miles. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop again who price matched a cheaper vendor.
