Kawasaki Z650RS Bobbins

I was looking for some paddock stand bobbins for my Kawasaki Z650RS.
I wanted something that looked good, affordable and worked.
I came across these Oxford ones which I thought would fit with the styling of the bike.
After some initial confusion and a bit of research i ordered the M8x1.25 which are correct for this bike.
They work well with the Bad dog racing paddock stand which I bought at the same time.
The bobbins look good on the bike, like they were factory fit.
My only issue was that due to the profile of the swing arm, one edge of the bobbing touched down first.
I remedied this by sitting an m8 washer between the swing arm and bobbin. Another solution would be to slightly file one edge of the bobbin so that it sits better.

Got these to use on my paddock stand. Fit was perfect and they look good on the bike. Make lifting on stand much more secure and help hold bike in place really well.

M8 option and used on my Suzuki SV650X. Smaller than I expected so looks OK on the bike, easy to fit and works well with the rear oxford paddock stand that I bought with it.

M6 thread fits directly onto my 2017 Tracer 700. I use them with an Oxford paddock stand, keeps the bike nice and stable.

I find it quite hard to get passionately excited about bobbins. Suffice to say, the Oxford ones are well priced, easy to fit, look fine and do the job. They completely meet my (unremarkable) expectations. Do make sure you get the right, screw thread size though.

The m10x1.25 threads fitted straight into the swingarm of my 2009 Kawasaki ER-6.
Now gives a sturdy stable fit on the paddock stand, much easier to use than the rubber cups which come with the stand.

Perfect fit on my Tracer 900GT.
Not too big and snug fit for paddock stand forks ordered at same time. Remember to select correct thread for your bike! Look very subtle when fitted. Excellent value and free carriage.

Easy fit to my 2010 GSXR 750 Just screw into the pre tapped holes in the swingarm .
Now chain maintaince is simple and wheel removal will be an easy task.

Bobbins bolt into the swinging arm thread mount and allow bikes to be lifted instead of using the universal rubber lifts often included with paddock stands. The majority of bikes have pre-threaded holes in their swingarms to fit Bobbins. This allows a safer and secure lift.
