Great summer jacket, plenty of air flow and good inside pockets with a reasonable price tag. Very happy with my purchase.
Great jacket exactly what I needed just as reviewed by SPORTSBIKESHOP!
What a quality jacket
Great ventilation for when the weather warms up and superb quality materials. very happy with my purchase. ordered a size medium, im 5ft.8, 12.5st and is a great fit Superb delivery lead times from Sportsbikeshop as always
OK. Well I've bought it in the winter ready for next summer. But here are my thoughts. I already own a Rev'it laminated jacket & trousers I use for cold / wet days. So I'm already sold on their quality & performance. But I wanted a cool jacket for hot summer days. 1. The jacket needs to be a light colour. Tick. 2. It needs to have a lot (a lot!) of ventilation. Tick. 3. Well made & a high level of protection. Tick. It's reassuring to have the waterproof / thermal inner jacket, but I hope / doubt that I'll use it in the summer. 4. Comes with excellent shoulder + elbow armour. Tick. I purchased as an extra the chest and back protectors. Good value. I also purchased the matching trousers with excellent linking system.
Great jacket allows full airflow for those warm days even at temperatures above 30C.
Offers good protection, sizing is accurate and the jacket is very comfortable. Even cones with a removable water proof and thermal layer, for the cooler wet days. In my opinion I couldn't fault it.
Got the jacket and matching trousers. Really light and comfortable, the warm waterproof lining means it still works when the weather is iffy. If you are wondering what to wear for a summer European tour this ticks all the boxes.
Originally bought the tornado 2 jacket for work after seeing the quality and practically of the jacket i purchase the tornado 3 for days out aswell only slight problem I had was the large was a bit snug and the x large felt a bit to big but with a decent back protector on it fits just right
You can really feel the airflow coming into the jacket, so it will be handy when the weather gets warmer. The jacket fit is as expected for the size chart, however the liner makes the fit rather snug so beware if you are planning on using the liner alot. I also swapped out the elbow pads on this jacket for some aftermarket ones that were cushioned on the inside for better comfort.
Excellent quality, good fit and looks great, very warm could easily be a 3 season jacket.
Would have given 5 stars but sadly the jacket doesn't come with any back protector armour.
Great jacket, but came with a shoulder pad in one of the elbow pockets. Contacted sports bike shop who sent replacement Knox pads.
Guess revit have no seeflex left?
Learnt the hard way to check the armour before cutting the tags and wearing.
I wanted the blue/black version but the size wasn't available so I went for the silver. Good ventilation in the recent hot weather, I'd say at least as good as the Rukka Forsair Pro. I haven't tried it with the liner yet but it feels warm and well made. I went for my usual Rev'it size (L) and as others have said the fit is "snug" with the liner in - but as I will use this jacket mostly in hot weather I went for the better fit without the liner.
Really pleased with this jacket. As expected it is very well made and performs well. The short zip is compatible with my Rev-It leather jeans but is tricky to do up. My son is starting out on bikes and he is going to buy one as well.
This jacket is great, with recent hot weather in uk, this jacket preformed brilliantly, inner liner at evening kept me warm.. size was a great fit, I love blue..
Was worried may be too cold but fine on my bike good fit and feel and lighter than my other jackets. Not used in rain. Normally take large but had to return first jacket and go X large.
I upgraded from my much loved Tornando 2 purely for the blue colour the Tornando 3 comes in. The Tornando 3 has been enhanced, most noticeable differences: 1) removable waterproof and thermal liner is a much better looking jacket in its own right; very handy to wear out when you need to be dry and/or warm but don't want to be wearing the outer jacket which can be left in the top box. 2) The outer jacket is made from ripstop material so its super durable and more comfortable.
I've used this everyday since purchase 3 weeks ago riding in 25 degree heat - the venting really does keep you cool therefore comfortable even in the hustle and bustle of inner town where air feels warmer. Riding in the wind and rain, no problem, I've commuted in both for plus 45 minutes and this jacket as expected, kept me warm and dry. I could ride in this jacket all year round because the inner layer is that good. If you just want a vented jacket to keep you cool then I would have bought the Revit Airwave but I wanted that plus versatility for any type of weather riding which is why I bought the Tornando 3 because it gives you this and does it so well. I've no regrets and consider this a much needed high quality piece of motorbike attire that I will take great pleasure in wearing.
One point to mention in sizing is that if you are like me between a medium and large then I would buy large, like I did. I can compare with my Tornando 2 that was a medium and was a little bit too snug. My Tornando 3 is a large and much more comfortable and when I wear it, it feels like a new skin fit thanks to the lower, upper and waist adjusters on the jacket.
Go buy one, I did and have no regrets.
I find this a great looking jacket and certainly keeps the air flowing on a hot day. Sizing maybe slightly smaller than you think so try one size bigger than you expect to start with.
