These boots fit like a glove and are very comfortable. I can't comment on the waterproofing! The zip and lace system I find to be very good. The leather feels solid and supportive.

Comfy from the first time I tried them on and took very little breaking in. Nice and high up the leg which offers good protection and are very tough yet really light and still give a good feel for controls at your feet. The zip is a waste of time though as I cannot remove my foot without loosening off the laces as well.
Apart from the zip they are a great boot.
