Sizing is odd

I purchased my normal size 34 and found them too large and baggy in the crotch/legs. Sent back easily and bought size 32 which fit lovely- these come long in the leg so had a tailor shorten by 6 cm spot on now for over boots on bike. Seem good quality and nice soft leather. Great value for jeans style bike trousers. Supplied knee protectors are rather bulky, so fitted my d30 knee and hip into the pockets ?

Would have been excellent but for the need to have the legs cut and seamed to fit. Leather, style and stitching all seem very good. Armour placement, also.
These jeans are to be worn on 'cruising' days and will fit the bill nicely.
They are oversized on the waist. I opted for the 32" and they are really a 34". Fitted me very well. I made my decision to try the 32" having read the Sportsbikeshop customer reviews on these jeans which, mostly reported that the waist size is more than the label size.
Armour on the knees is quite rigid and will hopefully soften up. I have added some Oxford AA hip protection and May do the same to replace the knee armour supplied.
Not tested on the road yet but so far very happy, especially given the price.

DXR Buschnell CE Leather Trousers

Had these toruses since the beginning of November and wanted to wait to give an honest review. They are great for everyday riding. Long enough to go over your boots or tuck in, or even get hemmed up. Wind protection isn't to bad, but will probably need an extra layer underneath in Jan/Feb. In the rain the only place that lets in water is around the crotch area (only part that is breathable and not covered by leather) and even then it doesn't let in that much. Knees protection in pretty solid and quite surprising considering the price. There are slots for hip protection too, but note for tailbone. Overall for the price you can't really go wrong.

Bargain leathers- but budget in cutting to length

Cheap but good quality leather. I ordered a 32 waist and am a 32 leg- the legs have an excess of around 6 inches so I got them professionally hemmed for £15. The CE armour in the knees is tight: I'm sure it's fine but I don't want to stretch the knees and ruin the shape. They're also a bit loose so I might need to get braces too. They look good though - over a DM type boot and still look ok tucked into a modern touring boot. Even with the hemming, these are great value and fine for touring or commuting.

These are a great fit and very comfortable.
I like the fact the legs are left long so they can be cut to preferred length.
There is also hip pockets for adding armour if wanted

Excellent jeans for the money.
They are basically a standard fit Jean all in leather (apart from the crotch area).
They are a little long and will need shortening, I advise using a professional for stitching the seams. Most people will probably need a size up from normal, however, the leather does stretch to your shape after wearing a few times.
I use a strong pair of braces to hold them up as the leather is a heavy material. The optional foot stirrups are useful when riding.

Really good quality, fantastic trousers. Had few before, those are top league. Removable pads od the knees, thick good quality leather, inside pockets, special inside loops to hang trousers to dry better. Highly recommended.

Overall really good quality leather jeans. Sizing is hit and miss. Normally I'm a 34. Ordered a 36 and I couldn't get them up my legs. Ordered a 40 but recieved another 36. However these fitted with plenty of room.

I needed to cut the legs. If you do this remember to stitch the cut seams otherwise they will open up.

They're heavy, good quality leather and superb value. Don't be put off by the price.

The armour is in the knees only and is fairly stiff but sits well on the bike. Have ridden in awful weather and they provided pretty good protection from the elements.

I found wearing braces is better than belt for general comfort.

Would buy again.

Very good leather trousers

This is my 1st pair of leather trousers and I have to say I'm very happy with them. I've been attracted by the price in first instance and by the quality. They are coming very long and need to be adjusted at the right length (e.g i'm 31" between legs and I had to cut about 3"). Also make sure you'll chose a size up (I'm 36" and I had to go to 38" but I think 40" will fit even better). I didn't used in a wet weather so I can't comment but overhaul I'm very satisfied. So, i will recommend !

Really good quality leather and very comfortable one the correct size has been ordered. I ordered my size a 36 but way too small went to a 40 and fits perfect now, so recommend going up two sizes, and if they dont fit just return and Sportsbikeshop will send you another the exchange is quick and simple

Really nice quality leather. CE rated but not sure if that means the actual jeans are CE or it is the fact that they come with CE rated pads. The long leg length enables you to cut them down but be aware that once you have cut some off you will have to take it to a leather tailor to put a lock stitch on all 4 bottom seams of the leg otherwise the stitching unravels.
Quite slim in the leg which I like and plenty of good size pockets.
Its likely you will have random sizes sent to you as mentioned in other reviews. It took me two attemts to get a size 32. Sent a 28 followed by a 30 so I gave up and just kept the size 30 as it fitted ok.
Cant beat them for the price and quality so a good purchase overall.

Nicely made trousers but the sizing is awful I'm a 34" waist so I ordered that size the order form stated size 34 medium but I could hardly get them on let alone do them up! lapel on jeans said small! So back they went!

I'm a 32 waist and bought these in a 32, they fit like normal jeans But leather is of high quality and quit stiff, I actually took out the knee pads, I don't think I would of gotten in to them otherwise, other than that, great for on/off the bike spins warm wind proof "I wouldn't change them in a heavy rain. S.B.S

I have ordered a few items now from SBS. These trousers arrived quickly and in good condition.
The reviews I looked at for these trousers all pretty much said to order a size bigger. I ordered my size and they fit just fine. So glad I didnt go bigger.
SBS is always the first place I look for gear and so far I have not had to look elsewhere as they have what I want instock.
