X-Lite X-903 Ultra Carbon - Modern Class Gloss Carbon

Placed online order to try at Reading branch. Arrived next day. Excellent help and advice from store staff about correct fit & feel. Helmet purchased at a great price.
Very comfortable & lightweight helmet. Sun visor lever a little difficult to locate, will get used to it.

After spending about an hour at the boston store trying 3 different barnds provided by the very helpful staff, I opted for the X-lite 903. Having worn it for over 1,500 mile I am pleased that I did.
It's comfortable, quiet (particularly when in free air out of turbulence - note :I wear earplugs)
The easy removable visor and lining are very useful and the drop down sun visor is easy to use and effective. I subsequently bought a nolan intercom which fits perfectly.

Great service yet again from Sportsbikeshop. I had ordered a Nolan N80-8 but didn't like the fit so returned and got the X- lite instead. Was a bit worried about the sizing as I normally have a large fit, they said I was a medium. It is tight but hoping it was loosen up a bit in time. Overall quality is very good and carbon look is great.

The product arrived safely, was as described and is a very comfy, i had issues due to an item being out of stock and sportsbike shop quickly resolved the issue and had my item in no time!

My first helmet since I getting back into biking for the first time since 2008. What a change in helmet tech and so good to have an internal sun visor, as well as the anti-fog.

Comfortable enough for me on longer rides. No complaints as yet!

Nicely made and a comfy fit for my head shape. However, after my previous Shoei helmets this one is just too noisy and I cannot recommend it.

I tried this helmet on in the SBS Boston store along with a few others from various other brands. It was immediately obvious that this helmet was far superior to the others and the only one with a fog resistant sun visor. The included pinlock was also really useful. It's light, quiet, comfortable with really useful features. A very slight negative would be that it doesn't have huge amounts of ventilation from what I can tell after 750 miles of use but it's not serious enough to complain too much. I added the N-Com B601 bluetooth intercomm kit which prooved really useful. I'm really happy with this set up and it will be my main road helmet from now on.

After checking over the helmet I found it had a fault in the carbon under the lacquer, so I returned it to Leeds branch which they arranged for a replacement. I received the new helmet in good time to find this had the same fault but more of them. I returned it to Leeds branch to which the sales person said "because it's hand made you will always get faults in carbon"????? I said can I have a replacement, he arranged for another to be sent. I received the new one which I found to be the original one I returned as it had the fault in the exact same place! I've kept the original helmet and put a sticker over the fault as I got fed up constantly returning.

Normally I use shoei GT air but thought I'd try this as a lower priced option. The build quality isn't as good, especially the cheek pads, but it's ok for the money. It feels light on using despite the actual weight. Struggling with my glasses more than with the shoei. Overall it's ok, and fair value for money.

I tried my friends x lite x 903 on and wanted one instantly, I had a Arai RX7V which for me found a little heavy and noisy. The x-lite is so comfortable and love the visor system and very easy to take the interior out. Just need to fit the N com 601 when I buy it which also looks very easy to do, top marks to sportsbikeshop from ordering to my house in the Isle of Man 2 days

I chose this helmet because it had proper recesses in to fit an intercom which was easy by the way look good and very comfortable

I Brought this helmet because its very similar to the more track orientated helmets that I usually buy, but with the bonus of having an internal dark visor (fed up riding home after sunset with dark visors) Its very well made, light weight and extremely comfortable, maybe not quite as quiet as the Bell it replaces but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. Size is spot on

I selected the X903 Ultra Carbon based on the reviews as I was looking for a helmet on the lighter side.
x-Lite sizing also suited me as their S is. 56-57 … other brands I have previously had tend to split 55-56/57-58
Initial impressions after a few days use are that the helmet is very comfortable, plenty of adjustment for the liner fit. Good for glasses as there is a removable pad to allow a good fit.
Gloss carbon finish is nice.
It is quiet, ( I always wear earplugs anyway), good visibility and both the sun and main visor work well.
Overall impressed and a competitive price from Sportsbikeshop so a good purchase.
