Alpinestars SMX Plus V2 Boots - Black

Bought to replace 15 year old SMX Plus boot, these are as comfy as slippers even walking distance. Sportbikeshop price matched with a store I found online so that was over £100 saving. Delivered next day on the Friday, unfortunately too small contacted them and asked for a bigger size, they sent a return for them, posted them back at 11am on Friday, got a confirmation of the return then an hour later a confirmation the replacements were on the way even before they received the return, replacements arrived 10.30 Saturday morning. Service of the highest standard, that's why most of my gear is from them.

Make sure you try these on first if you can.

I'm a UK 9 - 9.5 and the 44 felt good but my heel lifted too easily when walking around the shop. Too big.

I ordered the 43 and they are perfect. They are very tight at first so you'll need to break them in.

I found the toe box restrictive initially but the boots have now moulded to the shape of my feet and feel very comfortable on and off bike.

Loads of protection and look good too.

I originally purchased these boots 18 months ago from SBS and wore them continuously when on one boot the zip had broken, popped them back under warranty and replaced with a new pair even though the price had increased by £100, therefore I can't be more pleased with my second pair as the comfort and feel while riding is excellent and well worth it . SBS are fantastic and so are these boots so fully recommend both the boots and the service received, personally I think the zipper was a one off but testament to SBS and their quality service and turnaround.

Well worth the money, really good quality and most comfortable boots I have had. Had the older ones and they lasted me 8 years riding everyday so brought again.

Boots are great and in my opinion better then the next level up that I had because my feet fit snugger and I prefer the feel . Sportsbikeshop .... excellent customer service is standard for these guys , my boots had a fault and was still in warranty. I got a full refund with great service , chose a new pair that may have been 6 weeks but turned up in 2 . I don't shop for bike stuff anywhere else because manners and politeness with the service is second to none .

These are brilliant boots!
After reading other reviews, I ordered I size up of 48 from my usual Alpinestars of 47, and the fit is just right and snug!
Colours are much more vibrant in real rather than the pictures, so look even better!
I know these are expensive and having a bit of a wait at the moment, but are worth it!
Does take a little bit of getting used to with the fixed inner lace up boot, but you get the hang of it pretty quick!

These are some very good looking boots and you can tell from just looking at them that they are made to a very high quality. The boots provide a very comfortable fit and offer a extraordinary amount of protection. If you are willing to spend the money to protect your feet and lower legs then I can highly recommend these boots.

Started riding again and got myself the trusty SMX plus boots i loved from back then. Comfortable and packed with the features you want and need when riding sports bikes. Thanks for the prompt delivery!

First time splashing out on boots. Glad I did, the inner boot makes it feel much less like you're wearing a bulky boot. The build quality is obviously great being alpinestars

They feel a bit on the tight side so thinner socks required

I bought quite a few pair of boots and none match up to these. I love them. Easy to walk in. Look amazing and are perfect for riding. Would 100% recommend.
