Merlin Victory Textile Jacket - Tan

I purchased this jacket to have something a little lighter to wear on hot days. The quality is excellent, given the modest price and the jacket fits nicely. I weigh 84 kilos and generally wear a 42/44 suit jacket. I purchased a size large, and it fits well with a tee shirt underneath. It is warm enough for evening rides, but not stifling in the mid day summer temperatures. The material feels like quality and the armor inside is flexible yet supportive. The pockets are suitable for the usual wallets and mobile phones etc. It is certainly smart enough to wear out as a casual jacket and is likely to be my first choice this summer.

Great for zipping down for a quick bacon sandwich and smart enough for a trip out for Sunday lunch. Good quality material and snappy poppers. Stitching very neat. Recommend upgrading back protection Forcefield Pro Lite K Back Insert - 001, fitted nicely. Negatives would have preferred zips or poppers over Velcro on pockets but that's a personal opinion which doesn't reflect on the quality of the product vs price.

Very good quality jacket for the summer, although thick enough for a 3 season one. It also has an incredible number of pockets, 9 I think, though there could be more ! !

Classic Carhartt Chore Coat styling but in a slimmer cut, only been wearing for a couple of weeks but it is starting to wear in nicely, the collar can feel a little stiff on the neck but hopefully will loosen up plus I am using this as a summer day jacket so normally have the top poppers undone anyway. Overall quality is top notch, the poppers on the sides & cuffs could do with been a bit stiffer as they do pop open on there own at times but other than that no complaints. Added D30 back protector which works well with casual looks. Be aware the union jack flag that adorns the chest pocket in picture is actually on the bottom of the jacket not on the chest.
