Great light midlayer, very thin and fits under outer jackets well, with nice stretch panels so not restrictive around the forearms and upper back like the Revit core jacket is.
First outing I wore the Storm with a base layer and full mesh jacket at 2 DegC and it was toastie, does a good job of stopping wind but isn't fully waterproof as claimed. Now I'm only knocking rev'its 'waterproof' claims here not how it actually performed.
I was two up and the rain came in, decided not to stop and put the rain shell over thinking "well it's waterproof so let's carry on".
It was a good test, after an hour of heavy rain at 60+ mph and a water laden mesh outer, only my upper arms were damp through to the base layer, I wasn't cold and only noticed as I stripped off back home. I put this down to the wicking properties of the base layer and breathability and wind resistance of this jacket.
I dare say when not exposed to a high hydrostatic head the rain wouldn't have got through and I don't think it was intended for that sort of exposure.
Personally I don't feel it needs the monkey paws, a bit more generosity on the tail would be nice with the insulation running further down and lastly an inner pocket to pack it away would finish it off nicely.
A versatile jacket I find myself wearing a lot, not just on the bike.

Very pretty, shame matching trousers arent as good
30 November 2020 by Dawid D
It is an very pretty garment as usual from Revit. The idea is great. It looks amazing worn on its own off the bike.
From my experience with the matching pants I can tell the membrane is not very waterproof. Haven't tested that one. I am not expecting it to be waterproof from all angles.
Fits well. Again - looks gorgeous. Colour is unusual and but in a nice way.
It is not meant to make me or keep me warm. It is made to keep the wind from cooling my body temperature.

Warm, albeit not perhaps fit the deep mid winter. Excellent fit and quality.

Excellent Winter Layer
09 December 2018 by Mark
I'm really impressed with this. It's surprising how warm it is considering it's so lightweight, but it definitely does what I need it to. If you're winter commuting this is an excellent addition. It's thin enough that on the really cold mornings it will fit under a thermal layer if required. So far at anything above about 5°C I haven't needed to do that though.

Aside from the great insulation and moisture managing capacity of the Storm WB mid-layer jacket, the key feature in the Storm WB jacket is the additional EXKIN Air insulation panels. These are located at strategic areas, placed behind the newly developed Hydratex WindBarrier fabric, providing a thinner, more comfortable experience without restricting the rider in terms of freedom of movement or comfort. The Hydratex WindBarrier fabric has a double function. On the one hand, it completely blocks the wind and, on the other hand, it is also waterproof and highly breathable. So, get out there and have some cold weather fun.
