Just purchased to take on trip up the foothills of the Himalayas. Bought on recommendation of friend and also same Gortex material as my golf jacket which is still waterproof 10yrs on. Visually seams well constructed. Rolls up to compact size for tank bag.

Not waterproof after ten months of use

I've used this jacket a lot over the last ten months and have been happy with it jacket until recently.
I've used it whilst trail riding in the rain and some road riding, layering up with a mesh enduro jacket underneath, arnour and a base layer under that.
Today I was out trail riding for 2 - 3 hours in fairly heavy rain and the rain got through towards the end of the ride.
It got through all over the jacket - mostly arms and shoulders - so it's not a local defect in one area or a rip. I'll now have to look for something to replace it with.
Given the price I'd hoped for better and usually trust the Klim name - not so much now!

Perfect wet weather overjacket

Bought this jacket because I was after something to put over my leather when touring. Top quality and very well made. Fit seems perfect, my leather is a small and I bought a small Klim Forecast.
I also have the Forecast trousers for complete dryness.
I Can't recommend it enough. It also folds into it's own pocket which makes it easy to stow. Great service form SBS as usual.
