Bull-it Basalt 17 Lite Slim Fit Jeans - Black

These are good value jeans.

The Covac lining and general build quality seems tough and is reassuring.

The cut is high so your back isn't hanging out as you ride, and the long leg length is definitely long. I'm a 32" waist usually but found the 30" waist plenty wide enough.

The colour (black in the ones I bought) is a washed out look, perhaps not 'bang on trend' but they look good on and off the bike.

Great buy, definitely slim fit trousers that look for all intents and purposes like normal slim or skinny jeans. I'm a 29" inside leg and the 30" look to be true to size, though perhaps a little longer than 30". I was disappointed that the product doesn't come with the Bull-it knee protectors though that's not SBS fault, I didn't read it very well. Getting the correct insert is troublesome now as they're no longer a current product but I did find them. The knees protectors are a touch low on my legs but can be pulled up to the right place when on the bike and they remain in place. All in all a good, stylish purchase if you intend to get off your bike and go to social occasions without changing. Excellent in the summer too!

The jeans are super comfy, waist fit true to size. I don't find them to slim fit, (actually that's why I haven't rated the 5) they could be a little tighter fitting. Also I find them extremely hot, I should imagine they will be nice on a colder days riding but 24 degrees they have me sweating. Can't knock the build quality and comfort though
