Very comfortable

These are very comfortable especially when worn with a base layer. The size guide is spot on, and side adjustment makes fine tuning easy. I also have the Softshell jacket which easily zips to the trousers to stop drafts.

I'd made a list of trousers to try on that matched my criteria, by looking at the Sportsbikeshop website (good website). Then, headed down to the Boston shop, typed the list into their kiosk browsing screen set up and waited. It wasn't long before trousers started to appear. I tried on 11 pairs in total before finding the pair which were 'just right' - Richa Softshell Textile. They have a slight jean style cut - not baggie and have a soft feel, with significant stretch/give and are both waterproof and warm. The leg zip is very long, which is ideal for the type of boots I wear.

Staff at the shop were great. Very patient and explained how I'd got the price mixed up (I'd tried on the 'mesh' version and it was more expensive) and promptly got me the cheaper but even better (for my needs) version. They also gave me NHS discount, which is lovely and much appreciated.

A few weeks have passed and the trousers are great. I've also purchased a number of other items from Sportsbikeshop since and they were delivered much quicker than the estimated time. I will be purchasing more items soon. They are my 'go to' place for motorcycle gear and accessories. Prices and variety are excellent.

I've owned several pairs of motorcycle trousers and these are by far the comfiest I've ever owned. Not really a trouser for hot weather though as I found out at the weekend.
But these will be superb for when the weather cools down a bit. Very good price as well.
Very easy to adjust to get a perfectly fit.

Bought these Richa soft shell as it's now getting a bit chiller and they do a FANTASTIC job
Keeping me warm.
I had originally bought the Richa Colorado trousers but I felt they were for more serious touring rather than kicking about or commuting.
My partner has just a pair too and says they're the best soft shell trousers they've had...
They're that light weight you forget you've got them on!!
Good hip and knee armour and you can get long or short paddock boots on due to the zip up bottoms and Velcro strap. Great Value for money xx

Stylish, quality investment

I'm a big fan of soft shell as a light pliable but comfortable fabric.
These trousers are so pleasant to wear on the bike and are excellent at keeping you warm, maybe even too warm on a hot day with the liner in.
Still not sure why bike gear doesn't come in long leg and obviously all trousers ride up when on the bike. I'm a 36" leg but these work ok.
I did enquire if the matching jacket could be obtained by the store but I'm still a awaiting an answer.
I will have to hold judgement on the rainproof abilities as I've not had that situation arise yet.
