What a fantastic lightweight helmet. Looks the business with a dark visor too. Very pleased with my purchase.

Knocked off my bike bike at Brands resulted in a high speed collision (head first) with the barrier. No doubt the helmet saved my life!
Pre-impact the helmet was great for fit and looks great. Not the quietest helmet though, but has to be a compromise for the lightweight. Just bought my second one

Fabulous fit and good feel fabric. Super lightweight with a solid feel and nice to wear. I'm a moderate distance commuter so all these things are very important. And beautiful, symmetric carbon fiber lines clearly visible. Such a good, simple look. Fabulous price in the cyber Monday sale too.

Having previously owned the 802R I was looking forward to the changes the 803R offered and was not disappointed.
Still great quality, still great design but now the fit has improved.

Firstly; the fit. It is tight at first, but so it should be. I'd say that the sizing is pretty much bang-on. I am a "M" and it fits me well, albeit a little tight on the cheeks but this will ease over time. No movement on the head which is good, stick to your normal size.
Secondly; the vents. The chin-vent is two-stage but it's so stiff that you've got no chance of opening it to stage one on the move. It's either "open" or "closed" before you set off. The brow vent is simple enough and does a good job of directing air to your scalp but the top vents are far from ideal. These seems so fragile and although they supply a good flow of air, they close if the wind is too strong! Then there's the rear spoiler... when you open this it feels like you're in danger of pulling it off and again, this is more for style than to actually cool your head.
Thirdly; the weight. Super light, as you'd expect with a Carbon lid. No complaints, really comfy and 300g lighter than my Arai which makes a huge difference. It is noisier of course but some good ear-plugs make it just about the same as a less track-focused lid. The visor-mechanism is simple enough and "clunks" through the different opening stages reassuringly, however, changing the visor isn't the smoothest and takes some practice.
Finally; colour & style. Super cool! On the first wear I stopped at Seaways Cafe and some guy told me how much he liked it! It is smart as, although these images make it look "pinky", it's not, the carbon is a raw effect with touches of red and a smart, green inner-liner. Love it!!

Great helmet at an unbelievable price. So light & the attention to detail is superb. Slightly tight on a medium fit, but I'm sure after I have worn it a few times it will bed in. Comfortable interior. Came complete with a dark visor which was a bonus ( Thank you Sportsbike Shop )

Wow - what a nice bit of kit! I've come from Arai and Shoei helmets and the X-Lite X-803 Ultra Carbon is every bit as good. It's 300 grammes lighter than my Arai Chaser X which really makes itself felt, it's a lovely thing to wear. The fit and finish are high quality, the super-quality visor and pinlock are crystal clear, and the visor is so easy to remove for cleaning. I don't suffer the turbulence and associated noise of the Arai either. If there was anything negative to say I would, but I don't have a single complaint with it. Looking forward to racking up the miles in this helmet.

Great light and comfortable

Looks really good, true to size fit and comfortable. Light with excellent visibility due to wide visor. A little noisy due to vents, but at least it stays cool on a hot day.

Product itself is great. In matte finish with plenty of room for my Cardo JBL speakers. Its a little more noisy wind wise than my HJC RPHA11 but not so much so that it affords any regret. It has a wide and tall aperture to suitable for tank and head down riding (sports) without limiting your view with a good wide periphery view too.

Its light as well but it is not the lightest carbon lid out there but I bought it for looks and safety and quality in which is excels at. Its also comfy but I would say my Shoe NXR Ruts was the most comfiest helmet I have ever had. That said I did 6hrs motorway runs over a weekend and it caused no problems, no pressure spots and no discomfort.

Importantly though this is a top end carbon lid for less than £300 with a pin lock visor and insert.

Service wise the people at Sportsbikeshop were awesome as always. Being able to buy the lid and try it on with a free return is a great idea especially with a substantial purchase and for me a brand I have not worn before. Also kept up to date on stock as it was pending when ordered. Even more chuffed when it arrived earlier than expected too. It came well packaged as well as you would expect.
