Held Road Duke Denim Jeans - Black

Great fit, true to size and very comfortable, they look good and the knee pads are adjustable, so can be relocated.

First time I've used SportsBikeShop, but it's now my go to supplier. Great prices, quick delivery and the best customer service.

Wasn't sure about buying these as I usually by short leg Jean's.
There were no issues with this style as they have a zip at the bottom of the legs which allows me to let them fit further down my boots. They also have full armour knee, back and hips which can often feel cumbersome but not in these jean's. Fit was true to size and more grey than black but ican definitely recommend them.
I bought them when on offer, I dont think I would have paid full price.

Great, solid jeans, with plenty of additional protection options.

The jeans, for me, came with the "Held Quattrotempi Protectors - Hips" protectors, but the pockets are perfectly shaped with 'ears' for the "Held Quattrotempi Protectors - Hips & Ribs", which I bought separately.

My order didn't come with any knee protectors, but after checking with SBS, I was told they should have, and they promptly sent me a set out.

Finally, the jeans have a pocket for a coccyx protector, purchased separately.

The hip and coccyx protectors are held in place with internal pockets and aren't noticed whilst worn, the knee protectors simply sit on the inside of the leg, held in place with velcro - hard to say whether that's going to be an issue long term, but I can imagine with the rear of the protector directly against the skin, they could get sweaty/sticky in warmer weather, this is the only reason why I've not given 5 stars, as compared to the rest of the jeans, it feels like less thought went into this area.

The rear of the jeans comes with a zip for seamless integration with a held jacket, and the legs feature removable stirrups that will prevent them riding up the leg. As another review mentioned, these jeans sit high on the waist, I also found sizing varied slightly from what I'd consider 'normal' - In my case for a standard pair of jeans that I'd wear on the hip, I'd usually be a 38, with these a 40 feels a good fit, though worn higher up.

The crotch and inside of the thighs uses a softer, thinner, non-denim material, which is going to give you a better feel of the bike, and I imagine is going to be kinder on any paintwork; the jeans also feature zippered vents on the outside of each thigh.

All-in-all, I'd rate these jeans a 9/10, losing points only due to the knee protectors being directly against the skin. They're certainly not a cheap purchase, but feel well made and have been clearly been well though out in terms of features.
