Rev'it Varenne Textile Trousers - Black

These are great over normal trousers and with a removable thermal liner, were very warm but it's late spring so not tested in the depths of a Russian winter or anything.

My jeans are 34 with 32 leg (I'm 5/11 or 180cm ish) and the 34 Short fits me perfectly.

Knee armour feels good and in the correct place. Hip armour was less inspiring but it is there.

Jeans completely unzip down the side so no issues getting them on over the bulkiest boots.

No ventilation other than those side zips so could get super hot on warm days.

Adjustable Velcro bits at the bottom allow you to avoid the baggy trouser around the boots look.

Great service from SBS. Got here in south of France in no time at a great price plus they were the only place I could find the short variant.

Looked at Klim, Rukka, and several lower cost brands. Nothing is like these over trouser. Good generous fit, removable liner which is a must in hot weather. Very easy to get on and now can where a thin normal trouser/ shorts underneath as this has armour protection. Great for Cold morning's in the spring or autumn. Also only velcro apart from the waste is the bottom of the leg. So you don't get all flustered trying to get them on. Good strong 2 way zips. Haven't been tried in the wet but positive they will be shower proof for short journey's
