Rev'it Vapor 2 Textile Trousers - Black

Its hard for me to find motorcycle trousers that fit as I need a short leg. I bought these as a XXL Short and they fit quite well. For comparison Tesco 38 short leg jeans fit me perfectly so I would say the sizing on these as accurate.

These are very nice quality with a great snap lock mechanism that works well. The vents are good and they are warm with the thermal liner in. I could also get them over jeans with the thermal liners out which is handy for touring without much luggage.

For me though there is not enough adjustment in the knee armour position so they were really shin pads so i had little or no knee protection at all.

I use my bike for touring so don,t get out on it much. I used the trousers 3 or 4 times in the few months I had them and the last trip was very wet. This is where something went wrong as got soaked through down to my knees and very cold even at 17 degrees C.

I paired them with a Rev'it Vapour 2 jacket which is a touring cut jacket so quite long. Water might have come in under the jacket and then down in to the trousers even though there is a big overlap.

Needless to say the jacket and these trousers have been returned as they are next to useless in heavy rain.The might be OK on a short commute in a shower.I would rather spend double and get something that works. I really hope SBS will come good on an exchange.

I give them a 3 as they are OK if its not raining.

Bought this to replace my 4 year old Spidi winter gear. Lots of adjustments, functionality and style. Tested it on a good downpour and stayed dry throughout. One seize up would be recommended, as all my other Rev'it gear in M but had to do L on this one.
