I bought 2 pairs of these, one for me and one for my wife.
My wife's pair are acceptable but mine were a pain and I've sent them back and awaiting a refund.
The inner lining kept trying to pull out every time I removed them no matter how carefully I did it.
The last straw was when I couldn't get them back on after refuelling and had to ride home gloveless in 1 degree temperature.
Wouldn't recommend them.

Great retro style glove

As an already great fan of Merlin clothing I once more wasn't disappointed.

These have a retro feel about them with top quality leather soft leather.

The gloves fit well although you would struggle to get an extra pair of lined gloves under for the winter as they're so thick. So far I've only ridden in the summer but found to be waterproof in heavy rain over 20 mins.

I ride all year round commuting a 40 mile round trip each day so I'm keen to see how they handle the low temperatures.

In my view you can't go wrong with Merlin products and so pleased they're made in England.

Good quality warm gloves. Fit slightly snug.

Merlin make great gloves for the price, these are super soft and fit really well. Fit is 1/2 inch small to size with shortish fingers. My palm measures 7.75 inch and I fit into a medium very well. If you are used to traditional motorcycle glove sizing these are a bit smaller.

The only thing they could add is knuckle protection to the next version!

Perfectly warm and comfortable gloves

As a female bike enthusiast, I absolutely love these gloves - though I haven't had the opportunity to fully test them out against the winter cold and wind yet, I know they will be brilliant. As a unisex pair of gloves I would suggest that they are a quite snug fit, I have very small hands but went for the size S just in case - they fit me well, but my male partner who takes a size M usually actually found he could just about get his hand into a S - he just found the fingers a little tight!

As soon as you put your hand in you can feel the thermal layer of soft fleece and warmth. It's very comfy. For me, that nice snug fit against my fingers feels like it is ensuring that I still have complete grip (something that I find other gloves can be a bit hit & miss on). Very waterproof too!

The gloves are very well made, there are no loose threads or stitching issues. The wrist and cuff adjustments are nice and easy to tighten, even when wearing the gloves because you still have so much grip. These gloves are definitely more of a winter glove I would say, as they are so warm, with little ventilation. From having the wax cotton construction on other products I know it ages well and continues to look great for ages.

I would definitely say the colour is as advertised, and would not match as well with black. I have a Merlin Bromley Jacket in Olive that the gloves look quite brown against in comparison, but I think it looks fine personally!

Highly recommend these gloves, especially at the reduced price!
