Bike It Outlook LED Handguards

Firstly Sportsbikeshop were (as ever) excellent. The lights on the other hand... the first set arrived with no bracket. Sportsbikeshop changed them. The second set one of the bulbs didn't work (2 out of 4 LEDs failed), Sportsbikeshop are sending another one! Then the things are held together with small screws that could over tighten and strip the plastic if you're not careful. Overall I wouldn't bother if I'd known what they were like.

Well made - GRP plastic guard, bars are alloy.
All goes together well and looks good, decent wire as well.
VERY bright, not sure yet if too bright!

Strangely the LED housing rotates horizontally within the plastic, would have thought vertically would have been better.
Only problem is fastening - basically same design as wall bolt anchor so it expands inside bar as you tighten. BUT, only grips 3 inches or so inside the bar and not at the bar end so mine are not tight where the bar ends would go - only lateral movement not vertical they are secure though. However, went for a test ride and no movement at all so good.
Take care tightening allen bolt as it is made of cheese - one side on mine will need to be drilled out if I want to take it off.
With hindsight, wrapping electrical / gaffer tape at the bar end over the bolt before tightening would have stopped all movement.
I would recommend this product, it looks good but just take heed of the problems I had.
