Hi, Just checking if this is the same as one I saw in a shop - does it have a fixed mesh lining on the inside?

Good quality of taped seAms. Cut of the jacket fits over your riding gear nicely, not too tight, not too baggy. The only suggestion for SPADA would be to move the pockets from bottom to chest and make them meshed so they can function as vents & if they wanted to make it superb I'd add additional zippers on the side of the jacket to even improve venting. I do quite a bit of offroading and the additional venting would be really appreciated.

But if you're looking for a basic and functional waterproof, you won't be disappointed.

The only minor gripe would be about the zipper, it could have been little more robust. It's not tragic but it could have been better quality.

For the price of this over jacket it's a bargain, I primarily brought this jacket for summer use to go over my mesh jacket, should it rain, but I find it very useful for early mornings when a little cool to go over my mesh jacket it stops the wind and keeps me cosy and warm. Then a little later in the day when warmer it stows away very small when I want to take it off, gives mw the best of both worlds..

Quality Jacket

Recently purchased this jacket July 2020 & not tested in wet weather yet so unable to comment on how waterproof.
I tried a few jackets on which were far more expensive & really uncomfortable but found this jacket a perfect fit over my touring textile jacket. It's not overboard on the visibility & can be used as an ordinary jacket as well. Little more bulky than other wet jackets but I can live with that as it's long & fits great with your normal size. Great value & great product.

More substantial than I expected. Useful on or off bike. Waterproof and windproof. Generous sizing. Worn over my textiles with room to move etc. Wife has one too.Good choice.

Perfect jacket

Spot on for the price - as expected from Spada, who's products I've used before. Purchased in Medium, same size as my riding jacket - and it fits really well. Particularly like the Velcro arm adjusters - no flapping at speed, which is perfect. Wasn't too sure about the elasticated wrists when I first looked at them, but they are very easy to stretch over gloves and give a little extra protection in rain. Great visibility too, without being OTT. Have already used in several downpours & nothing got through - totally dry at end of each ride. Usual excellent service from SBS too!!!

Great jacket great quality, fits perfect, really is waterproof and wind proof. Been riding all winter but this jacket is the best, yet this is my second one well put together, good quality, fastenings, well made zips on every part of the jacket.

Great waterproof jacket

Brilliant jacket, rode from London to Birmingham in torrential rain and this jacket did exactly what it was bought for to keep me dry, and it did. I purchased the next size up so I could fit over my textile jacket with ease.
Lightweight waterproof and windproof and the fluorescent is very bright.
Would defo recommend.
