Alpinestars SP-5 Leather Gloves - Black

To be honest I was expecting a bit better quality product from Alpinestars.
I have boots from this brand and they are great but those gloves, well. Not so good.
They look good and fit almost fine. They have plenty of protection, are light-weight and airy, yes.
But finish feels like some pieces were not truly of the right size and came out a bit off, tight or shifted. Some seems feels thick and pinchy, making a glove uncomfortable.
Feel on controls is OK but I would expect from such light gloves better touch, as comparing to my warmer and thicker GoreTex pair from Bering or Revit Dirt 3. Maybe they will break out in use because they are really thin.
All-in-all, as for the summer, they will do but not as my favourite, yet. A big plus for touchscreen enabled fingers :)

This is my second pair of these gloves. Sizing is spot on. Definitely a summer glove, thin leather, but very comfortable and hands dont get sweaty. Minimal protection but great for around town where speed isn't a factor.

Wanted a quality summer glove at a good price. I did not want too large knuckle armour but some. These fit the bill, comfortable, cool on hot days, good Velcro closures and tactile for satnav use. Very pleased with these and the look good, true to size chart.

Great item really tough and durable

Brought these and can't fault them. Perfect fit, and still bedding them in but just what I needed . Great gloves recommend them

After reading other reviews I decided to order a size 2XL which is equal to a size 10 glove from the buliders merchant I use at work. Really pleased with the fit and quality of these gloves. You get what you pay for they say, but in this case I feel I've done very well at the price point.

Went for an XL, I'm this size in most other gloves - great fit, nice ventilation for a summer glove.

Not waterproof, but seems water resistant - can survive a summer shower no problem.

Otherwise feels very well put together, good movement in all fingers. Very happy.

I wanted short, summer gloves and I'm quite happy with my choice. They are very comfortable and have great ventilation, also they work with touchscreens.

I have try almost every gloves on market, looking for something for summer, and those gloves are perfect, perfect fit, great quality (Alpinestars after all), good protection, and nice design!

A very good fit with good flexibility. A really useful summer glove.
