Rev'it Sand 3 Textile Trousers - Black

Great trousers, already have the jacket and was impressed enough to buy the matching trousers. I wanted something that could handle the cold and hot days. I like to be able to remove the waterproof liner on really hot days. Hip and knee armour very comfortable. 40inch waist I went for xxl short they fit great. Sportsbikeshop great as always.

Excellent quality and perfect sizing. I'm a 34 waist with a 31 inside leg and the Large fits perfectly. Good width at the lower leg to allow for motocross boots to be worn underneath.

I ended up with a few returns on these to dial in the sizing for waist and length. Sportsbikeshop as per usual were great with their free returns!

I found my usual L a tiny bit tight, so tried the XL but they were too big. So they do seem to run a little smaller on sizing. but they seem to have broken in enough already that they now fit like a glove.

They are super comfy now and the vents/deep pockets are great.

I have yet to try these in the cold and wet, but I'm sure they will hold up.

Perfect match up to the sand 3 jacket.

I bought the Sand 3 jacket and loved the quality and decided to get the jeans as well. I have the light grey jacket but bought black as I didn't want to look like a Thunderbird etc. The quality is great but it should be at £260. They are comfy and warm although I still wore my merino wool leggings underneath this weekend riding 400 miles in wind, sleet, snow with 0 Degree wind chill in Scotland and stayed warm. Note on sizing. I'm 34" waist. SBS suggested the XL but they were way too big. L was perfect. 31+1/2" inside leg = 'short'. Don't normally do reviews but other reviews help me so here we go :)

Really comfortable, fits well and really warm for these frosty winter days, the only negative is the V flap behind the fly zip, this V flap should have been big enough so you wouldn't have to partial drop ya trousers to have a tinkle so hence only 4 stars, as I would of rather given 4.5 stars out of 5.

Great fit and very comfortable. haven't given it the full test yet just waiting for the really cold weather. So far a thumbs up.

I purchased these along with a Sand 3 jacket for a big Norway trip. I didn't research them at all as I did all my research on the jacket then just brought the trousers to match.

Having just got back from Norway and tested the jeans in some prolonged and extreme weather (hot/cold/very wet) I'm please to report that the jeans kept me warm, dry and comfortable and that I now consider them 'excellent'.

Pro's
. 100% waterproof
. Very comfortable and well ventilated
. Feel robust and good quality and I expect that they would protect me in a crash and will last for many years
. Attach to the jacket via one of two zip options, depending which layers you have fitted
. Easy to fit and remove the 2 lining layers, even in a confined space (motorway service toilets!)
. Fit snugly around your boots with both zip and velcro fastenings

Con's
. A bit bulky, in contrast to the jacket which is slim-fitting
. Strange sizing - I had to go for a L as the M were way too tight, and I'm very slim (the M jacket was the right fit)
. Quite heavy - they tend to fall down unless zipped to the jacket (I've not tried braces yet)
. The patch pockets were good but I kept looking for jeans-style pockets too

A superb piece of kit, bought the sand 3 jacket which ticks all my ride boxes, heading to Scotland so decided to invest in some textile trousers so went for the sand 3 trousers as they work together with the jacket. The quality and materials used are top notch and I feel toasty in the gear.

Well made jeans which kept me dry and warm in both wet and cold weather but we're also cool in hot weather while I was touring around Europe.
On one day I rode nearly a thousand miles to get to Calais to catch the ferry home and the trousers were very comfortable and practical, not heavy or stiff like some other types of jeans I have worn over the years.
