Our customers say…
Customers rave about the quality and fit of these jeans, highlighting their stylish, slim fit and excellent construction. The knee armor is praised for being thin and discreet yet effective. While the jeans initially feel stiff, they soften with use and retain their substantial feel. Despite minor issues like length and the need to purchase additional hip protection, the jean’s protective qualities and comfortable wear both on and off the bike make them highly recommended.

The jeans were as per description and the sizing was spot on. Felt heavy but very comfortable. I have had trouble with incorrect sizing before but no problem with this product. Light knee armour, and no hip armour.
I spent time searching for a great looking and functional pair of protective jeans and I'm delighted with my choice. They look and feel fantastic and have superior protective qualities. No more grandad jeans that are an embarrassment, these are 'on point' and comfortable too. Would give them 6 stars if I could. I had to go up a size on my normal jeans and as others have said they come up long but not when sat on the bike which is when it really matters- not an issue for me as I love a decent turn up!
Although I didn't get the size I ordered. Once they were altered. These jeans are amazing, great quality and perfect fit. Will probably get another pair in the near future.
Ordered a size 34 long. Waist size is a good fit but I still need a belt. Leg length is perfect. Snug fit around the calfs so there is no excess flapping about. armour is thin but you know it's there and doesn't move about. Metal zip fly is nice and sturdy. Look like a normal pair of jeans but with triple stitching everywhere. Would recommend and first class service from sportsbikeshop. Thanks
Excellent quality jeans, fit around waist is true to size, I take 34 in normal jeans and the 34 in these fitted the same. I would say they are more of a tapered fit than regular fit on the leg. I couldn't tell the knee armour was there, very impressed. I also tried the Philly jeans which are described as loose, which in my opinion are more of a straight/regular fit on the leg.
Mulled over spending this much on 'jeans', but glad I did. Looked at several pairs from other brands, admittedly at around 20% less, but these are very well made. Tough cordura denim, with a stitched in liner in the seat (loose on some other brands). The seam stitching is superb. Knee armour only, which is soft, but comfortable. I would say that they size accurately & you should select based on whether you want them to be tight or looser, to leave room for optional hip armour for example. I'm 33/34 with 32 leg in a fashion Jean & went for 32 regular leg in these. Snug, but I don't want hip armour. The leg length is long, but perfect on the bike.
Took a while to decide on these Jean's and have not been disappointed. Great look and fit. Knee and hip (bought separately) armour is very discrete and not bulky at all. Only point I have, and it is not any fault of Rev'it or Spirtsbikeshop, is that the short size leg is a bit long for my 29' legs. Got these professionally shortened to my size and they are perfect. Will certainly buy more and very happy to recommend to others. Well worth the price.
Great quality and really comfortable. I have quite long legs and revit gear has good size options. The armour is thin but still feels up to the job. Great value for money.
These things are just fantastic. Waist fit true to size but legs are V long (went for short leg) The overall fit is "slim" so they look great on. The seesmart armour in the knees is barely visible as it's slimline but ce rated. The jeans are fairly stiff at first but that makes them feel more substantial. Add a connecting belt and these jeans + a rev'it jacket are pretty much as good as a one piece suit. Very pleased with these and would recommend them to all. The SBS staff in MK make trying and buying a doddle too.
These are simply amazing! The armour is so thin it is pure witchcraft!
Fit is great, look stylish and like a regular jean, construction is excellent - very happy.
I have the blue pair, but tried on the grey and will be buying them also as they look very smart and can be used for work.
Slight rub on the back of my knees but I think that will go with breaking in and a couple of washes.
Also remember for above 20 degrees these are warm because of the protection so if you said normal jeans warmth were 100% these are 125% which is great for Autumn/Winter.
I am in between a 34-36" waist in most shops and the 34" fitted perfect. Always a 32" leg and no issues there; turning them up looks nice but I have them rolled down on the bike as I found it catches on my foot pegs.
Seem great jeans so far. They are a good tailored fit but still loose enough to be able to fit over boots with ease. They are quite long even for my standard leg length.. from pictures they look like they are meant to be turned up (reflective strip suggests this too) so I have done that. Armour seems very thin on knees but unobtrusive.
Other than that, comfortable, lightweight and feel like slightly heavier normal jeans. Most people can't tell they are anything but normal jeans too which is nice.
Haven't tested the impact/abrasion resistance and don't plan to
If your jeans length is 32, these will fit perfectly length wise, however, when you sit on the bike knee protectors will be too high. I would recommend going for 34 length and shortening them.
Only worn twice so far and so far so good. Good fit when on the bike and material feels robust enough to withstand a good slide. Comfortable to wear when walking around off the bike and not too bulky. Would recommend
Great colour and great fit. My regular denims are 34" waist and 32" leg and the Lombard 34 Regular are perfect with a little room over in the waist while standing but perfect while driving. Paired them with TCX Hero boots and I can go anywhere off the bike they look so good. Armour is completely unobtrusive in the knee while you will have to buy the hip armour separately. The only reason my rating was not for " excellent " is because of the styling of the back pockets. The stitching for the pockets is positioned far too low and finishes down the leg rather than on the bum. Maybe has to do with the protective layer that is stitched in. Anyway, only a small issue that doesn't distract from a quality product.
I usually buy 34 Regular, but for these jeans 32 Short fits around the waist and the leg needs a 2" turn up - which shows the inside reflective seam. Great for the bike only just passable for office casual. Its hard to tell that I have fitted the additional hip protectors. Overall, I am very happy with them.
After going on a week-long biking holiday in stifling heat, I can say that these are the best bike jeans I have ever owned. Great comfortable, casual look/fit on and off the bike but with good build quality too. The jeans have floppy rubbery knee pads that mould to the knee really well making them unnoticable. The aramid fibre layer covers down the fronts/sides of the legs just past the knee and covers the backside as far down the leg as a pair of shorts, which I feel should be longer. There is also a layer of soft material (cotton?) between the leg and the aramid, so there is no rubbing/chafing. Definitely worth every penny.
The Lombard 2 is an improved successor of Rev'its award winning Lombard jeans. These regular fit jeans have been revised for a better fit and so that Rev'it could incorporate their in-house developed Seesmart protectors at the knees and optionally at the hips. The extremely strong construction of Cordura denim and strategically placed PWR|shield remains, but riders have the option to choose dark blue or dark grey as their preferred colour.
Rev'it produces technically advanced, uniquely styled clothing that's built without compromise. As it approaches its 30th anniversary Rev'it has become one of the biggest brands in motorcycle clothing thanks to a commitment to quality of design and construction. Since arriving in the world of motorcycling in 1995, Rev'it has sought to redefine industry standards by following its own line in terms of both style and innovating technical features. Rev'it pioneered its Engineered Skin approach back in 2001, relocating vulnerable seams to areas less exposed to contact with the road or track. Rev'it is a clothing brand that continues to grow here in the UK, which is why you'll always find us featuring the entire range.
