Knox Ladies Roseberry Denim Jeans - Blue

Look more like trousers than jeans so can wear at work. Excellent fit. But I am 5'1" so needed to take up about 3 inches. And as these are tapered to very narrow at the ankle they are now quite tight to get feet through! Knee armour is fine as I can pull jeans up a bit when riding. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop - the original armour was very, very musty so they sent new armour free of charge.

Construction and design were excellent, as always with Knox. We actually returned them as my wife is quite short and the knee armour just did not sit in the right place - or most people it would be fine.

I ordered these in the hope they wouldn't be too long in the leg for me. I am normally a size 10/12 and the 12 fits a treat with appropriate room to spare. The waist is super high and snug around the back when leaning forwards. The fabric feels good quality and really comfortable and the colour good. The liner gives extra warmth, so good for dry spring and autumn days. The knox protectors are great quality and I love the idea of the externally accessed knee pockets. The only downside for me is the length of the leg. At 5' 3" the legs are about 4" too long and they are too narrow to go over my boots/turning them up gives a huge ridge inside my boots so I have shortened them. That doesn't however put the knee pads quite in the right place so I have to hitch the legs up when I am on the bike and I can easily take the pads out when I am off it. So in summary, great jeans, very comfy, good value in the sale but if you are short be prepared to compromise/ get your sewing kit out.

They do not have stretchy material more like jeans with a slim cut. Possibly a little too wide I wear my TCX lace boots under not on top.
My waste is 31 inch, 5foot 6', and wear 10-12 size clothing. I went for size 12.

They are very high waisted and thick and comfortable to rid in.

I can fit a snug pair of leggings / wool skin underneath. For them cold winter month.
OK not true black, they are more dark charcoal.
The knee pads doesn't seem the fit the pocket very well, the pocket could do with being 0.50cm longer.
And zip can be hard to do up when wearing the trousers.

The Kevlar lining goes all the way from waist to the low ankle which I think is super.
I washed them on 30c, spin 800 and colour didn't fair and trousers didn't lose their shape.
Out of all the motorcycle jeans / leggings I got (4 pair) I like these the best.
They went to 'the trip out' been all day at college 8am-10pm and they even been out clubbing in London, I know don't ask!! (I wasn't meant to go out-out, and my bike got left at my mates house!!)

Excellent pair of riding jeans. Very comfortable to wear on and off the bike, the armour can be removed so easily with the new zip at the knee without having to turn the jeans inside out.

Very good quality jeans and feel unrestricted with the Kevlar protection. Easy to turn up at bottom as I am 5'4 inch and sits well inside or outside my boots. Knox armour is easy to fit and take out when off the bike and then they look and feel like normal jeans. Would definitely recommend them.

These jeans are the best I've tried, I love the removable protection. Personally I only wear jeans for very short journeys like cinema or meals out. These have a lot of protection with the lining all the way down the legs and hip n knee pads. I'm an 8-10 in normal jeans and got a 10 in these, they are very snug but still very comfortable.

Nice quality jeans with Kevlar down to the shins. I'm usually a 12/14 and the 12 fit nicely. Removable armour good but can be fiddly putting back in if wearing the jeans (pocket seems a little small in the knees, curling the bottom of the pads slightly), the zips whilst very discreet can be fiddly. These are comfortable though would struggle to sit in the office with them all day due to the high waist band, I find slightly short from crotch to waist but fine whilst riding. First pair of jeans I have owned so nothing to compare with, obviously a lot cooler than leathers and textiles, I have been caught in two downpours in them but have remained relatively warm thanks to the full Kevlar lining.
