Oxford Hunter Boots - Black

I have owned a pair of these boots before and was very satisfied so ordered a new pair from the SportsBikeShop and arrived the next day unfortunately after 3 months the stitching started coming apart the people at the SportsBikeShop were fantastic emailing a returns slip before I had finished the phone conversation and the replacement boots were sent out the same day and arrived the next day. I can highly recommend the SportsBikeShop the service is second to none and will definitely use them again.

For me, these were too short for my liking. They also pushed against my shins when riding. Prob due to the sports tourer peg position and this may not be the case in a more upright / different angle leg/peg position. I was also caught in heavy rain and some water did somehow find its way in. They do seem a little hard to break in and I went a size up.

Comfortable and warm. Perfect under my RST Kevlar jeans. Great boot for a great price. Highly recommend.

This boots are very difficult for a normal feet to be weared because the zipper is small and it doesn't leave enough space to slip your feet in the them easily.
It is me first boots -with the same size I normaly wear - for motorcycle that I am facing the above problem.
Otherwise when you manage somehow to wear them the size is the normal like other boots except there are a little be tight us new.

After reading precious reviews, I ordered 1 size up bUt unless you have the ankles of a kenyan marathon runner your still gonna struggle. As I tried the boots on the tags came off kinda forcing me to make do with what I'd got. Nevermind though, I took to the shed and worked a rubber mallet inside them heating them up with an old hair drier. They fit now with very thin socks and the insoles removed. No doubt given time they'll shape themselves. I haven't been out in the rain properly yet, but be warned....Try carefully before you buy.

Great quality product and fast delivery, very impressed

First pair of motorcycle boots and I am pleased with them. A bit stiff at first but now they've been worn a few times, they have softened a little and are much easier to put on and take off.

Good value for money

This is a good leather boot that fits well but do get a size larger than your usual shoe size as they are a tight fit , needed help to take them off at first but they are breaking in well now For the price I think that they are excellent value .

Good quality boots, good thickness of leather, comfortable, reliable fastenings, break in well.... BUT....

I would not consider these waterproof boots. I got them in July 2020 in prep for 5 day DAS, wore them around the house for a few hours to loosen them up a bit and passed my DAS at the beginning of October. Bought a bike the week after and caught a bit of rain on the ride home, no issues. Fast forward to December 2020 and an hour commute in rain... when I got to work, dry feet. Copped another hour of rain on the way home but ended up with soaking wet feet, both feet, almost identical results left and right. I suspect that the stitching might not be taped/sealed very well and unfortunately there is quite a lot of stitching.

I will probably end up getting something better sooner than I might have done. Shame, I quite like the rest of my Oxford gear.

Really good quality and lovely and warm. As others have said go a size bigger. Very much worth the money
