RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket - Black / Black

Appear very well made, a little stiff on first try on but soon loosened up after a couple hours.

Very comfortable leathers. Unfortunately had a crash not long after owing this leather jacket, but fortunately it held up perfectly. Not a scratch on me and the stitching and leather stayed in tact. Very well made and I can confidently say in the event of an accident will protect you. 100% recommend.

Firstly a bit on my shape. I'm a short 5'6 stocky guy with 34 inch waist (in jeans, 36 in trousers), About a 40/41 inch chest - normally a medium but sometimes a large for a comfier fit in t shirts. This jacket fits snugly but Im happy I went for medium as otherwise the large would have had too long arms. Its fits perfectly and is much more supple than my Alpinestars set (which is a positive for me as i wanted a more 'flexible' set of leathers), Quality seems high, design classy and not over fussy. Great deal and purchase.

Great fitting jacket, great quality. Bought on line took it into the new Glasgow shop to get a back protector, staff were excellent.

I'm 5'11 and my measured chest is 41" so i initially bought a 42. This was too small, and short in the arms, so I returned it free and got the 44. This is a good fit if i tighten the side velcro straps to fit my 33" waist. I've got the RST level 2 back protector fitted which is about 20mm thick as well.
The jacket is nicely made and the leather feels good for the money. An AAA rating makes it good value. In use I found that the ventilation holes do let a lot of airflow through, so for autumn rides I'm using a thin baselayer and an oxford chillout windproof top as well. I don't think this would be suitable for very cold rides however, but during summer you aren't going to overheat in this jacket. Overall, for under £200 now reduced, with the back protector added, they look like amazing vfm

People say order a size bigger but I ordered my proper size and the fit is very snug although I still have room for a hoodie underneath. I am slim though, so if you're not maybe a size up wouldn't be a bad idea. The no.1 reason I bought this was because of the safety aspect but a couple of things I noticed were that the jacket is shorter than I thought it would be and also it's not as warm as I thought it would be as it lets quite a lot of air in through the ventilation. More than happy with SPORTSBIKESHOP service, very reliable and reputable company. Buy with confidence.

My first Leather jacket selected with the best guidance from the MK team. It really does feel so nice to wear with very good flexibility. Its also not too hot either as the air flows through just in the right places. Looks good and I have the confidence of AAA safety.

Looks the part and fits snugly (off the bike) and zips nicely to my leather trousers.
Once in riding position, the sleeves bunch up around the bicep/shoulder area. Added to the rather overly efficient "vents", this has helped create the draftiest leather I've worn in over 40 years of riding. Definitely one to avoid.

Can't get better value for money. I've had a few leather jackets and this is the same quality as some that I have paid over double the price for.
Measurements true to size. I'm a 43" chest ordered 44" and fits perfectly allowing for just enough room for a jumper underneath if wanted.

Purchased this jacket a couple of weeks ago, only worn on the bike once at the moment but seems good. Looks great, a bit stiff but I'm sure it'll soften up with wear. Can't fault sportbikeshop for service and delivery by dpd
