Alpinestars Nucleon KR-C Chest Protector - Black / White / Red

this product fits well after a few minutes of wearing it molds nicely to your body shape. Fits well under my jacket and I don't really notice its on.
Not too expensive as a complete package( obviously need the back protector too).

I would recommend this product.

No need to mess around putting the pads in your jacket now. Just strap it to your back protector, zip it up and go! you can even adjust it to your own size so it's snug against you.

Brought this chest protector to work with my KR-3 back protector, and let me use say if you've got one of the nucleon KR back protectors you need to get your self one of these well worth the investment, took a bit of time it fine tune the fit to my liking, now I forget that I'm wearing it. Really helps build confidence and makes you feel safe knowing your fully protected in the event of and accident. As of yet I have crash wearing the KR-C and hopefully won't be the build quality reassures me and I'm pretty sure it would protect me just fine if I was the crash.

The Alpinestars gear really is good. I bought this in union with the KR1 back protector which allows you to connect both together, like a backpack. It zips apart in the middle to get it off easily and there's plenty of small holes for air flow. Comfortable.

This piece of kit is a must for anyone on the road, it fits well and is the ideal combination to the KR-2 back protector which I also purchased. The two go hand in hand and make an ideal cage to feel protected. The kit does not move and stays in place and eventually molds itself to your body, which is when it then feels like you don't have it on. I have a very close fit 42 inch RST leather jacket and this fits under nicely as the back on the Jacket has the additional space to take the back protector, the chest protector fits snugly but not tight, so the moral of this is its not going to take up a lot of room so no need to go up a size on Jackets. Hoping I don't ever have to rate the protector after a fall but if that should ever happen the quality of the protector is such that I have faith that its going to offer some degree of protection. The overall quality is sound and is easier to use with it connected to the KR-2 back protector as it clips on and is then put on like a waistcoat with a front zip ... quality product from a quality company and really good value. Don't ride without one!

I have purchased numerous chest protectors, both inserts and clip on. This by far supersedes in all aspects including design/comfort & protection. Initially the fit felt good but not perfect, however, after wearing for several minutes the protector seemed to mould around my chest perfectly to the extent I almost forgot it was there. My initial concern was that it was slightly thicker than than the CE Level 1 approved protectors and it would not fit properly under my leathers as they are quite fitted, however, It was ideal for both road and track use as it was not intrusive at all and seemed to fit under my leathers perfectly.

The only pre-requisite was that for best use you would also need to have the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-2 Back Protector to clip this on to (which I also ended up purchasing with no regrets...). Both this and the back protector where the perfect combination for under leather protection and the zip on the front of the chest protector made removing and wearing the protection even easier. Highly recommended as an all rounder and definitely great value.

I was considering buying this chest protector along with the KR 1 back protector for some time but now wish I'd bought it as soon as I saw it. They are fantastic and what a great idea from Alpinestars to connect the two. Very well made and very comfortable to wear not taking up too much space in my leathers. The chest protector actually feels better the longer I have it on with body heat helping it to form around me. I recommend this product for value for money,comfort,fit,and ease of use its so easy to use with a centre zipper.
