Oxford Rainseal Over Jacket - Bright

This is my second Oxford Rainseal Jacket from Sportsbike shop, replacing the one that was stolen, so previously tried and tested.
Good fit , nice velvet feel around collar so no irritation.
Jacket is waterproof and also helps protect against wind chill

Great fit and packs quite small even in 2 X-Large.
Love the soft collar that is higher and should keep rain from running down from my helmet. Have the rain seal storm collar that did a great job in Germany this year in three days of continuous rain.
Not used yet but if as good as the trousers I've got them all should be good. If not the sportsbikeshop guarantee will back me up.

Having riden through France recently in pouring rain with an old waterproof jacket that clearly wasn't waterproof any more it was time to avoid the misery and buy a new jacket. My friend already has one of these jackets which I used traveling back from Scotland in a deluge, so I knew it performed well. Price was great. Size for me was my usual XL and still quite roomy over my leathers ( with back protector)

Super high quality and super dry, also stops wind

Bought this to replace its predecessor which unfortunately bounced out of my tail pack when I'd forgotten to zip it up,,,,,very silly.
However I like the style and dual colour of this one and apparently so does everyone else, I had to wait 2 months until SBS had them back in stock in my size,double XL.
The jacket is a close tailored fit bot not tight it allows for movement and adjustment with the aid of side straps, it looks and feels quality and has a liner so therefore quite breathable and is very good as an extra layer if you become cold on the bike.
Unfortunately no pockets except for the hidden chest pocket behind the storm flap zip,this isn't really a problem, you don't need pockets in my opinion so not a deal breaker.
The point is this garment offers great value at £29 evey bit as good as the more expensive branded 50 to 70 quid ones so I don't see the need to spend more.
Lastly I've spent thousands of pounds over the past 20 years with SBS and never once been let down or disappointed in short they offer a brilliant next day service, that's when it's in stock, not often that it's not .

I wear this over thermals and a leather jacket during 6 degree celcius ride for 90 minutes. I was surprised by the quality as the material felt thick, seams and zips well made.
It was 100% waterproof but also provides a bit of wind protection. Perfect!

I have a similar jacket for running. The reflective coat is white and even in foggy conditions is highly visible a long distance, even in low light is reflecting. During daylight is the colour grey so has 0 high visibility. But is ideal for early morning late night travel . The bonus is that is waterproof. It fits over a my normal jacket but I suggest trying before purchasing. My jacket is a size 40 medium and Oxford over jacket fits. It is a bit tight, however the larger one was just too big. It packs down quite small, the material is thick but is not stretchy. The cuff has a Velcro closure, not ideal. It is a bit narrow. For the price is perfect.

Well made jacket fits fine,
It looks terrible in day light ,
But I bought for the commute when it's dark in morning and on way home and this is where the jacket is awesome really glows. Surely the cages will see me now

Good fit and a decent collar that that seals well.
Waterproof and tested thoroughly.
If you wear an Xl bike jacket get this in Xl also . Fits over great.

Like the Oxford range as good value for money. Matches the rainproof trousers and packs away compactly ready for use if caught in downpour.

Quick delivery as usual.
Jacket packs away small and has a nice fluro stowage bag.
Works very well, 4hrs across the Picos and only a few drops got through.
Lined inside so less condensation build up.
Great for the money.

I have a rainseal jacket and bought one for my wife too.
We have used the jackets now in relatively persistent rain for about 3 hours and it kept me dry.
They feel like a good quality products and performed as they should.
I wear an XL Oxford Mondial jacket and had to downsize in the rainseal jacket, so I bought a large in the rainseal jacket and it is a perfect fit for me, my wife wears a size 18 Mondial and she also went for a size large, they're not too baggy so they don't flap around at speed or in wind.
Our only criticism, the arms are about 2 inches too short, so the cuffs of our jackets stick out.
