How I've missed an open face!
14 December 2018 by Richard C
Purchased this back in the spring and wanted to get through the year before I gave a review. I'd wanted an open-face for a long hot summer on the continent and the joy of riding without a full face took me all the way back to my teenage years. As to the helmet itself, a wide scope of vision, the ratchet stops on the opening mechanism allow you to ride with the visor at a 'draught' level that works in the heat. Ventilation slots work well and the internal visor is a god send in bright sunlit and not too fiddly to use. There were a few niggly things...others have mentioned to go for a size up, and there is a tightness across the brow, but in fairness, that settled in eventually. Having always used D-ring fastening, I took a while to get used to the ratchet system and finally, there's a rattle somewhere in the helmet - I suspect it may be part of the internal visor system but I've not been able to track it down. Most noticeable at higher speeds so not too much of an annoyance. Overall, good value for money, but the best thing about the whole experience of wearing this helmet is the rediscovery of riding with an open face.

Nice lid
11 October 2018 by Darrell S
I've worn this lid a couple of times now and it seems comfy.
Some wind noise but no worse than other lids I've got, probably varies depending on the person's size, type of bike etc.
Good size visor reduces wind on the face.
DEFINITELY buy a size larger.
I could get the helmet on in my size but couldn't get the chin strap done up.
Next size up still fitted OK but no issues with the chin strap.

No more steaming up
02 May 2018 by Christine B
Very comfortable, perfect sizing. Very good price and quality. I find I prefer this to my full face helmet as I don't get steamed up any more. I love the sun visor it is so easy to flick up and down. The fastening strap is quick and easy to use with no fumbling.

Great helmet with good ventilation.
Shame the Pinlock does not come in the box otherwise highly recommend.
Sizes tend to come up small.

Quality on a budget
30 May 2016 by Jonathan C
I wanted an open-face helmet that was safe and robust enough to use on the BMW but at the same time was light enough and unobtrusive enough to use while doing short local runs on my antique moped during the summer. The Scorpion Exo-220 fitted the bill totally and at that price was irresistible!
The only hiccup was the sizing. I normally take a 58 but this was so tight that the chin strap couldn't close even at full adjustment. However, using the excellent exchange system, I got a 59 and all is now well. The helmet is so unobtrusive that you hardly know you've got it on! The visor gives draught-free panoramic vision and works very positively with its click-stops. All this for a penny under a hundred quid! I'm well impressed!

Good quality at a good price
16 September 2015 by Eve S
The helmet is comfortable to wear, sizing is spot-on (I've got a 59 cm head and the large helmet fits perfectly). The inbuilt sun visor is handy although when used together with the clear visor it gives a slightly distorted effect. Overall I would say this is a good helmet at a reasonable price - good value for money.

Great quality & value, very pleased
26 August 2015 by Dave W
Love this helmet. It's well made, good quality and great value for money. The sizes come up small. My head is a 58 but the 57-58 is much too small for me, the 59-60 is just about perfect. My wife who has a small head wears the 57-58 and she says it's a great fit. The padding is easy to remove to wash. The air vents cool the top of my head a treat, and the visor is really easy to remove and replace with the peak. The only thing I wish it had is a ring in the strap so that I can secure it to my bike.
