Gloves are warm even without turning them on, there is extra padding on the outside of the gloves but not effecting the looseness of the grip, they warm up very quickly and do not burn the top of your hand, they are both battery and 12v constant power compatible. They have a small compartment to tuck the portable batteries away too. They do not come with batteries or the 12v cable to keep that in mind when buying these gloves.
The screen touch feature for your phone can be a bit fiddly and sometimes you may have to press harder or it presses a random place you didn't want.

A good solid pair for the winter and possibly into summer days, very good pair.

Just wear a T-shirt under this, good app too. The only bug bear is the bespoke battery connection which is annoyingly expensive. Fab customer service as always from SBS

The charger comes with one short adapter cable but requires two if you want to charge two batteries at once. It joins between the charger Y cable and a battery easily enough. My only criticism is why the adapter is needed at all, as the charger cable ends should just work with the batteries out of the box.

I treated myself to the Macna heated jacket before Christmas as I had never used heated gear before. I am now a total convert. So I bought these gloves two weeks ago when out in freezing conditions and again- a game changer. I have these and the jacket plugged into the bike. The idea of batteries that probably don't last and the costs on them is high anyway for what they are.

Very warm hands for the four hours I was out that particular day. I've been out several times since and just find them amazing. Heated grips are fine up to a point but when you put winter gloves on they become less useful. These work a treat.

I would also add- these are branded as womens gloves. I'm male and likes the short cuff and style and found the size L a pefect fit for my smaller hands.
