Gloves are warm even without turning them on, there is extra padding on the outside of the gloves but not effecting the looseness of the grip, they warm up very quickly and do not burn the top of your hand, they are both battery and 12v constant power compatible. They have a small compartment to tuck the portable batteries away too. They do not come with batteries or the 12v cable to keep that in mind when buying these gloves.
The screen touch feature for your phone can be a bit fiddly and sometimes you may have to press harder or it presses a random place you didn't want.
A good solid pair for the winter and possibly into summer days, very good pair.

Love these gloves best heated gloves in my opinion keeps my hands warm on the cold ride & to top.it off very waterproof have warn in downpour & my hands stayed dry and warm. Would 100% recommend them

The heat level is very good. Excellent for those cold days. They would benefit from a layer of grippy leather on the palms. The right one slips a bit on the throttle, which is why it's a 4 star.

Some thick gloves try to open up your grip, but these feel very neutral. Come with visor wipe and tuck in to your sleeve rather than over (much better) and heat right down the fingers
