I have used and tested many anti corrosion fluids over the years and to date this is my go to product.
By testing I have sanded a piece of 40mm mild steel box section masked it into sections and applied different rust inhibitors to each section then left it outside. ACF 50 comes out on top .
I have been doing this for many years.
I find the best way to apply it is with a spray gun. I have a cheap touch up gun dedicated to its use and leave it in there all the time so handy. 150 psi and it is a very fine mist, no need to heat it with this method.
The down side is it attracts dust and is hard to remove which for me is a bonus.
My previous 1200GS after 60k all year miles the silver engine looked black, the ACF50 ounce removed revealed a corrosion free bike especially around the front of the engine.
My current GS has done over 100K all year miles the engine looks black but I am confident that if I removed the ACF50 it would reveal a corrosion free silver engine.
I also use it on the brake lines etc on my car and pickup..
Always avoid getting it on brake discs and pads.

Wholly excellent product for protecting your bike. Pretty easy to use, spray it on the bike (avoiding tyres and brakes) I put the spray bottle in hot water to make spraying easier or it can get clogged up. As usual brilliant ordering and delivery from Sportsbikeshop

I have used this stuff over years after cleaning bike. Does a great job at stopping corrosion, apply everywhere and chain. Just plaster it on.
I've been using this for the last few years after having been recommended it by a friend. To make ACF50 work most effectively, it's all about preparation. I always make sure to give the bike a proper deep clean to remove all dirt and then I can start applying this. I find leaving the spray bottle in some warm water for about 5-10 minutes prior to use really helps with the application. After it's sprayed on, I use a brush to spread it around and then after a short while I use a cloth to rub it in/remove excess. I ride all year round and have found that when I use ACF50 with a combination of proper washing of the bike, that my bike doesn't suffer from any corrosion! It's a truly brilliant product and I can't recommend it highly enough.
As per usual brilliant service from Sportsbikeshop, taken for granted parts arrive promptly, AC50 is the best on the market I have tried the rest. But always come back to this, on my bikes cars and motorhome
Used the aerosol version in the past, found this more convenient, especially if you warm it up in a jug of warm water first. Also easy to pour a little out for brushing on fasteners.
Not as thin as I thought I ended up spraying on a cloth and applying went on great dried quick

My 'go to' treatment for winter riding. Use all over the bike (except tyres and brakes) to protect from mud, salt and water. Gives plastic trim a lovely sheen. Use brush to apply and wipe off. Excellent stuff for protection from the elements.

A great product for protecting your pride and joy, does an excellent job of stopping and even removing existing corrosion as well as preventing. 4 stars and not 5 as it's time consuming and leaves an oily film which then attracts dirt. Best to apply with a compressor and great for winter storage.

Is there something you shouldn't spray with ACF50?
April 23, 2018Use ACF-50 anywhere, except the brakes, on your bike including the engine and exhaust (will smoke on first start and burn off down pipes but still slows down corrosion process). Safe on paintwork, most rubbers and brings up black plastic trim a treat. ACF-50 contains no water and is approved for electrics so spray directly into electrical joints and components where it will prevent corrosion induced failures and high resistance joints. Works well at stopping dirt, mud and salt from sticking. You can come back from a winter ride with the bike 'white with salt' - a quick wash off and it's gone with the bike still protected.
Will washing rinse this product away?
April 23, 2018ACF-50 is not water soluble,and so water will bead on contact. It creates a "sacrificial layer", once the beading stops it will need to be re-applied.
What is 320z in ml and does it come with the sprayer bottle in addition to the extra bottle?
