I bought these for extra lashings on Ferries. I haven't used them yet but they look like they'll be just the job. They're not too bulky and will help me to try the bike down both side while on the side or centre stand

Handy straps good quality

Quality ratchet straps, not too big, right length webbing.I've lightly oiled the ratchet mechanism to keep everything working smoothly when they are needed. Perfect for securing the bike in a van or on a ferry(ones that don't supply ratchet straps!). Confident these straps will safely do the job I bought them for

Overpriced straps

Hooks are good instead of standard ratchet straps, but ratchet mechanism is not very sturdy! We had 2 bikes to strap down and in the end one of the set worked better on other bike, with the use of another strap for my bike. 3 times more effort on this one to strap down, and release was not great! Cheap strap with £10 added for R&G marking I'm afraid. I bought handlebar strap with these, it was good, these disappointed.

1.8m length straps, ideal length for strapping down a bike in a VW T5. Straps come with a hook at either end (as opposed to a loop). Easy to thread, easy to release. Would recommend.

Good ratchet straps, works as it should and appears to be well made. I only gave it 4 star because I found ratchets almost identical but for a few quid less at a local auto store, so perhaps they're a little over priced?

Tie Downs that done the job!

No problem in securing my bike with these R&G straps but it is a bit of a fiddle when trying to slacken off the strap.

R & G have a good reputation. I had been looking for tie downs at a reasonable price for a while and decided ratchet straps would be safest. They are easy to use with with soft feel straps and nylon coated hooks. My only complaint was that there were no instructions.
