R&G Single Side Stand

As with others stand came with a few paint chips on the main bearing sleeve at the top, not sure how this happened as the product was bubble wrapped and packed well. I just applied some touch up paint myself, the paint finish is going to get marked in use anyway. The stand itself is well built and reasonably sturdy for a single sided unit. Great service and delivery from SBS as usual.

As with Gary A, my stand arrived with some chipped/peeling paint (quickly sorted by SBS as usual), and after using on the drive the paint had scarred badly on the bottom runners (could easily be solved by using some cardboard or blanket... DOH ! ). Bought for use on a Mandello, to use safely, it really needs two people to keep the bike (feeling) secure if on the side stand. On the centre stand it works perfectly, and very easily, with just one person. Feels very secure once set up so I think it'll prove useful for winter storage.

Stands are solid and hold the bike well. Unfortunately had to swap out the first as had paint chipped off and underneath was clearly rusting around the pin areas and the main bar. Exchanged for another that was better but still a few areas where paints started to chip and it's rusty underneath. Just going to live with it but for the price it's a low rating from me.

High quality stand bought for single sided swing arm on my Speed Triple .
Excellent quality as you'd expect from R & G - Bike is stable and easier to work on than when on the side stand.
Cheaper on the sportbikeshop website than on the R&G site!

Good Quality

Quite expensive, but you can see that it is well made and feels solid. Works fine lifting my Ducati Monster 1200, although you do need to apply some pressure to achieve lift. A little wobbly once lifted, but that's to be expected with a single-sided swing arm. Usual great service by Sportsbikeshop.

R&G Paddock Stand

When I recieved my paddock stand it came well wrapped and in one piece. The stand itself is made of a very high quality and you instantly know this a soon as you see and use it. I have purchased a few things from Sportsbikeshop now and the delivery time is really quick.

The pin I needed for my bike had to be purchased seperately but that fitted in with no problem at all. Using the stand for the first time was a learning experience I soon got the technique but I'd advise to have someone with you the first time just so you dont drop the bike. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and if you want a very good quality stand then this is definitely the stand to buy.

Good Quality Stand

Bought for my Triumph Speed Triple RS. You need to but the separate pin for your bike model which makes it quite pricey compared with other stands but it definitely has a sturdy confidence inspiring feel. Fitting the pin definitely requires circlip pliers - there are 2 metal circlips, one of which I managed to get on eventually without, but the second had me borrowing some (still managed to send it pinging across the garage and play hunt the small metal object several times). Some people reckon the lifting arm is a bit short but the pin through the wheel means it can't stip off like a standard stand on bobbins and I can lever the bike up with one hand pushing down firmly but you might struggle on your own if you're on the lighter side. Helps to have a grab rail on the bike. On the stand the wheel rotates really smoothly, the bike is slightly more wobbly than a double sided stand. Half a star off each for the price and the leverage but I'd buy again.

Can't dispute the quality of the stand, but the length of the lifting arm is a issue. It's too short to be able to lift my bike easily onto the stand, it turns into a balancing act and a two arm push down.
