Furygan Ladies Janis Leather Boots - Brown

These boots are excellent. They provide extra height and they are very comfortable on and off the bike. They have kept my feet warm during winter and they look great. They come with a side zipper which is super helpful when doing them up. I tried a few similar boots but these look and feel the best. Size up.

These boots seem to be well made and sturdy and I like the chunky sole and heel height. They do seem to be quite small fitting though as I bought a 6, which is my regular size, but they've given me heel blisters after a couple of outings. Maybe consider sizing up, especially if you're going to want to wear slightly warmer socks than standard. The zips are quite stiff and I've found that I have to undo the laces each time to create enough space to get them on and off, which is a bit annoying. The other thing I've found is that because the leather is a brushed finish rather than smooth, my gear pedal has already left scuff marks on the top of the boot. Not yet used them in rainy conditions so can't comment on how waterproof they are!

I bought these boots to give me a bit of height as I'm very short in the leg. They have a good chunky heel and sole, without losing the ability to feel gears, brake etc. They are very comfortable. I like that they have a zip as well as laces. The only thing I would change, and this is my own personal requirement, is that I would prefer the zip to be on the inside of the ankle rather than being on the outside of the ankle. Purely for the reason that I find it easier. They are a good quality, sturdy boot and I like them very much.
