Ultimateaddons 12V 4.8 AMP Dual USB Charger - USB-A / USB-C

Competitively priced and good quality charger. This tiny charger is fantastic as it has the newer "on trend" USB C port and the old school USB A port.

The build quality appears to be high and I think it's an aluminium body shell so shouldn't be prone to cracking if dropped. The little port covers are a nice touch but I'm not sure about longevity. That said, I do like the fact that they're independent.

Great value for money and I would buy this product again. Can be used in the car too.

I bought this to replace an Optimate Dual USB-A 12V charger which wasn't able to charge my new phone.

This charger, with a new USB-C cable, was more than able to that. It sits quite flush with the charger socket and hasn't shaken loose so far, which could happen with my old charger on my Tracer 9 GT.

However, it does expose some of the connector metal in use, which makes me worry I won't be able to use it in wet weather. (The Optimate charger has a thick rubber cover which prevents this).
