Held Cool Layer Long Sleeve Top - Black

I wanted a better quality under-shirt. I've had cheaper ones, they haven't done 5,000 miles yet and they're quite pilled and tired-looking.

I went to SBS in Boston and tried a few and this one ticked more boxes than most.

The sizing however is a little weird...

I'm a 50" chest and 6'1" with all my height in my back (31" inside leg).

The size chart on the Held website doesn't even agree with itself!! '2XL - 42" - 122-125cm'.

My 2XL shirt measures 46" at the underarms and somehow, it's still quite big on me. No idea!!

We know bike gear sizing is bizarre but it just means trying on first. As a result, I've got this at 2XL, my Oxford Montreal at 4XL (fits like it was made for me and my Richa Infinity 2 6XL is 'snug'!!

How does all that work?

Anyway, I've bought it, I've worn it so it's staying.

I'm not sure if these are supposed to be a close fit but it isn't. It's not 'too big' but it's bigger than I expected.

In other areas, it's 29" next to hem if that helps anyone?

I've only worn it two or three times but you really can feel the difference in quality and I'll probably get another. It's good gear!! Might look at the warm version to considering how the wind howls through the new Richa jacket...!

Excellent quality and comfort, I use this Held cool layer for summer rides and it keep me sweat-free and is super soft on the skin, Love to wear this layer on my long motorcycle rides.
