Really pleased with these. I bought a second hand Cardo and one of the speakers was crackling a little when playing bass. I wasn't sure whether this was just because I was expecting too much but decided to replace the speakers. The replacements are excellent now sounds great.

A better fit

The bigger 45mm JBL Cardo speakers are not actually round so don't fit into the speaker recesses of my Shoei NXR 2 or Scorpion ADF 9000, they have to sit at an angle which is uncomfortable on my ears.
These 40mm speakers fit much better and are flush, although I think they're a little quieter

New Cardo 40mm speakers..excellent!

The original jbl 40mm speakers are not completely round .hence they don't fit my Shoei J-cruise 2 cutouts these new improved one's do .so quality sound in my j-cruise helmet excellent!
