The Oxford cool seat does what it says , However, I got the cover to stop me slipping on the seat which it has done and seems to be made well .
Have only used it on a short run but will have to see how it is over the long term.

The Street / Sport seat cover features a narrow 15 cm front to match the seat profile of most street, sport-touring and dual-sport motorcycles. The Cool Seat is an easy-to-install motorcycle cover which provides the rider with permanent cooling whilst driving with the air flowing between you and your seat. The air mesh fabric controls moisture and heat, the cover allows the air to circulate and prevents moisture and heat build-up.
