First of all, not as pictured. The aluminium guard is extra.
Had to re use some parts from an old stand to make this work.
The worst thing is that the leg that holds the stand away from the swing arm isn't long enough and therefore, the stand bounces off the swing arm making a clattering noise over every bump. This also damaged the finish on the underside of the swing arm.
The springs are not tensioned enough to return the stand to the up position.
The finish is good but everything else is bad. I'm surprised as SW motech stuff is generally good.

Thanks to new technology, the centerstand of the Honda Africa Twin / Adv Sports can be assembled without any effort at all: the spring that holds the stand on the bike when on the move is attached without tension and tightened with a screw. The indestructible, yet lightweight steel tube construction offers the best angle and ground clearance, makes it easy to jack up and provides stability - whether it's during maintenance or on the road. It is usually no longer necessary to purchase an additional assembly stand. Ideal for the winter months: the main stand relieves the tyres when standing still for a long time.
