Alarm Lock

Good solid chain and lock. You get 5 seconds to undo the padlock before the alarm goes off, although this feels like a lot less and I normally end up setting it off every time. Good thing for protection from theft but could soon get annoying

Sturdy

Seems simple enough. Only issue I see is if you want to take it to use as a disc lock has to be apart otherwise the alarm will trigger on movement. You need to be quick to lock and leave otherwise you trigger the alarm. Would be better with a longer period than 5 seconds.
Chain would be better with a ring at one end so it can be looped through itself.

Reassuring and sturdy

I grabbed this to beef up my security vs the smaller chains I've used up until now.
The chain is chunky, long and gives me all the length I need to get this through my Oxford ground anchor and on the bike.
The alarmed lock is also great - big fan of being able to choose if it's alarmed or not, as this only activates if you correspondingly put the red side of the U-bar into the red-outlined hole. If you put it the other way around, it locks, but doesn't activate the alarm.
This is also reassuringly solid and chunky, with enough space and length to easily get around your spokes or discs.
Overall I'm really pleased with this - being sold secure and looking like it's earnt it makes me sleep a lot more comfortably knowing my bike is protected with this.

This chain lock features Oxford's strongest ever lock with an integral alarm. The padlock has a 16mm shackle and an ear-splittingly loud 100bB alarm which is triggered by movement sensors (the padlock can also be engaged without setting the alarm). Combined with a 12mm hardened steel chain, available in 3 lengths.
