Jacket looks really good on and off bike. Leather feels soft and liner is comfy. Got abit chilly without the body warmer in one morning at around 16c, decent 3 season jacket

Very pleased with the fit and feel of the jacket, the leaher is really soft and comfortable to wear. Good quality for the price.

More Casual than Biking Gear

The leather feels extremely soft, ideal for a casual jacket, but leaves me worried that it won't perform in the even of a crash.
The fit wasn't quite right, but Sportsbikeshop changed it for one that did fit straight away - top service as always.

I thought about buying the black version but when I saw brown I thought it was more casual and a nice bit of kit. Wanted a jacket looked and kept me warm in the cooler evening, just the job, looks more suede than leather, smells great, comes with an inner jacket you can take out. Just the job for the isle of wight scooter rally. Got great retro look to it, over all very pleased

The original Hixon jacket was first released in 2016 and was a staple of the Merlin collection for many years. As part of the Hixon refresh we have kept the well-received super soft and supple leather and added in a number of new improvements. The first of these upgrades includes D3O® armour which sits in the shoulders and elbows. Hixon II then has a revised fit with a slightly longer length, new design details and crucially includes more ventilation - with three back vents and two chest ventilation points added.
