Oxford LeverLock Alarm

Usefully visible deterrent. Really loud alarm.

I wanted something I could put in my pocket and carry around easily. The alarm is great and very easy to use.

The Oxford LeverLock Alarm is a handy, easy to carry and easy to use visible security device for deterring the opportunist thief.

I got this alarm as my classic bike doesn't have disc brakes, so my usual disc lock is no good. Not 5 stars as I found it very difficult to get to the battery, hopefully it lasts a long time as I don't want to do that again soon

Wanted something easy to carry around no matter where I'm going, and have peace of mind I have a decent lock fitted.

The alarm is an added bonus as it's acts as a deterrent should someone attempt to tamper with it

Quality of the product is what is to be expected by Oxford, amazing!

Design seems alright although I can only give 4 stars because I had to remove the internal cushions to fit over grip puppies. Overall ok also price wise.

Great piece of kit - well made, very easy to fit and acts as a superb deterrent at a reasonable price.

Easy to use, and an effective deterrent. Instructions for setting up, not very clear, otherwise happy.

I was surprised to see that it was made out of plastic, but then again, if you're trying to break into it, the alarm, hopefully will be screaming in your ears!

Before buying this lock i'd read other reviews and my main concern was it's all plastic body. I decided to use this, along with a Xena alamed disc-lock i bought at same time, at night but carry this around in the tool-pouch of my old KLR600 for when i need a quick-use deterrent (the yellow is ideal for being noticed). The number of lads and kids that eye-up the bike when it's parked on street was worrying so now at least i can be out at the first bleep of this sensitive alarm, brilliant.
Only mither was initially getting the battery-holder out, not wanting to snap anything and being too ginger.

The product is great and a good lower price from Sportsbikeshop. Reference to the installation instructions on Google should be in the packaging especially how to install the battery and if you want to use it without the alarm to remove the battery. There is no alarm on/off switch which was suggested in the MCN product review.

Great visible lever lock, after a little adjustment it fits perfectly on my RA scooter.
Teamed up with a yellow Oxford disc lock and minder this really stands out and is a good visible deterrent when nipping away from the scoot for a short period. It's not going to be bulletproof but it's small and light enough to carry on a journey.
Really liking the push to lock function, nothing worse than fiddling around with keys when there's an audience.

Highly visible, yet compact & easy to use (once I googled instruction manual & found how to activate battery).
Alarm loud & another deterrent when out & about that is easy to carry.
Wouldn't stop the determined, but good value & as always good delivery from sportsbikeshop.
