A big improvement over the previous model and charges fairly quickly using USB-C. It's heavy and solid, only time will tell how durable it is in terms of robustness or battery strength. I also doubt Keis usage time frames...

Poor rechargeable battery

Very disappointed with KEIS.
Had to wait a long time for the battery to be available.
The battery is heavy for the size.
Battery life is awful, lasted less then 3 hours whilst testing it on a jacket on low setting!! And takes an age to recharge!!

Keis 500mAh batery

Initially i was suprised at the rapid discharge rate and soon realised that by controlling the jacket or trouser temp you can manage expectations. I use a c type fast charger which is decreases charging time dramatically. I also noted that i need to plug my trousers into the jackets after switching the jacket on. I only use the battery off the bike not during rider.

Had to purchase a power source, as using the heated vest independently from bike. I went for the more powerful one, so as to give a greater charge time, but it is expensive really for what it is. Handy that it does double as a power source for charging other things though, such as mobile phones etc.

one of my original Keis batteries has expired (Model 612B) can this higher output battery be used to power heated vest safely and not damage the vest or me,thanks John
