Great headset as always from HJC love the FM radio function and voice assistant. Not had chance to try out the mesh but I'm sure it will be just as good
Purchased to go with my JJC Rpha71. Easy to fit, works well, nice and tidy in the lid.
This system is the perfect fit for a compatible HJC helmet. Fitting is straightforward, if a little bit fiddly; take your time and read the instructions and it should be easy enough. Being integrated to the helmet cuts down on extra drag that an external intercom might add, but I doubt it would be that much anyway.
Sound quality is excellent and microphone is clear. Google/Siri integration is a great feature; helps reduce the amount of times you need look at your phone and/or touch the buttons. Not tested mesh yet, but this system has a lot of features to make group riding easier. Highly recommended if you have a HJC helmet and your group use Sena Intercom.
Obviously get this over the 21b if you want mesh, but the real main reason for me was siri integration, really nice being able to issue voice commands to your phone, means a lot of the time I don't even have the phone on the mount so it doesn't distract me.
It takes a minute to get your head around all the combinations of button presses for different commands, but once you do, it's a great bit of kit. Can't fault it.
Paring order can be a bit of a faff, but again, once you get your head around the logic, it's ok, app helps a lot rather that just trying to do it through the buttons on the helmet.

The SMART HJC 2nd generation premium Bluetooth communication system model implements an all-in-one design, that is fully integrated into the helmet, allowing you to feel the optimal weight balance and aerodynamic performance while riding.
Based on the BT 5.0 low power system, the 50B (based on SENA 50S/50R) features both the MESH intercom and 4-way Bluetooth intercom features. The enhanced sound system properties include audio multitasking, sound equalizing, advanced noise-canceling, and more. The SMART HJC 2nd generation also comes equipped with HD speakers to enrich mid-to low-pitched sounds.

December 17, 2024We can confirm that the Mesh intercom has a maximum range of 2 km, whilst 10 devices can be connected at once. This device can also be connected to all Sena operated devices, such as Sena, Nexx, Nolan etc.
