Verified Customer Reviews for Oxford Air Seat
Oxford air seat.

This is as good as the air hawk. It was half the price. I am really pleased with my purchase. After trying various different seats this is by far the best. I ride pillion.

Still got a numb backside
25 September 2024 by Colin B
I got the sport/street air seat to try and eliminate my sore backside when on my stock seat of the BMW R9T. The seat is a pretty much perfect fit for the bike and the price is really competitive compared to an Airhawk. Unfortunately after about 70 miles the numb bum started and I felt like the seat was pushing me forward so I let a little air out to see if that would help but it didn't. This is the first air seat I've tried as I would usually go with a remake of the internals of gel and memory foam at 5 or six times the price. I don't want to be too hard with the review as I think it will take a bit of fettling to improve but I don't think it's ever going to be as good as a remake.

Moderate comfort
13 August 2024 by Ghassan Y
I used oxford air seat on street triple. It somehow adds a bit of comfort and increase riding time by an hour or so before you get achy.
I found that you need only a bit of air in it for maximum comfort and stability.

Well made excellent product: does the job well.

I am a 65 year old motorcyclist. Recently purchased a new bike. Will probably be my last bike. It had the most uncomfortable seat for long rides that I have ever experienced. The Oxford Air Seat - Street and Sport rectified this problem. Just fix it to original seat pump it up and away you go. Your back will thank you for it and also those other bits of your body that ache after those long journeys. Another well made Oxford product which does what it says on the tin.

Improved comfort
08 July 2024 by R.W.C.
Only used once so far, but an all day ride was much more comfortable. Just a small amount of air is needed, and it was easy to adjust to the best position on the saddle. Also seems well made. There are many similar ones on Amazon, but you are guaranteed a certain amount of quality from Oxford, and good support from the Sportsbikeshop.

Oxford Air seat

Good product that takes sitting on the hard seat out of the equation on long rides. Saved my bum on my recent trip up to Scotland and back which was a life saver

Good way to asses ride height of your bike.
16 August 2023 by Sadiq R
Purchased this to asses the handling and comfort of my bike if I were to raise my ride height/seat height and this it did very well. Also very comfortable and easy to use. Now I need to raise the bike.

Useful Addition
26 April 2023 by Richard H
An accessory I would rather not need but became essential. Bought a comfort air previously from another supplier which sprang a leak soon after. Comfort air offered no assistance so I thought I would try the Oxford version. Certainly makes for an easier more comfortable ride and less need to break for a stretch.

Works for me
23 March 2023 by Anonymous
Used this about 10 times now, it has remained inflated without any air loss. Very easy to fit onto saddle the supplied pump is a bit flimsy but I have only had to use it once on initial inflation. Comfort wise, once I had dialed in the right amount of air for my weight it has been really effective. Takes a few rides to get used to the slight movement of the air underneath but after a while you stop focusing on it and just get on with riding. My motorcycle is renown for its thin saddle SV650 but this has fixed it for me. I weigh 9 stone so very light if you are built like an outhouse, it may not be as effective for you.

Comparison with ComfortAir
05 March 2023 by Mark N
Bought at same time as the ComfortAirSeat version. Initially thought the Oxford mesh seat cover was not as robust as the ComfortAirs faux leather cover.....but...
ComfortAir took 15mins of trial and error to fit, and never felt particularly secure on the saddle, but air adjustment was easy (blow up like a lilo). Oxford was easier to fit...took 2 minutes, and felt more secure once fitted.....and the mesh cover felt like it gave a better grip between the saddle and me. Supplied with a simple airpump, and easy to adjust the inflation.
Sportsbikeshop made it easy to return/refund the Comfortair.
Haven't tested on a trip yet as the weather dissolved but feels promising.

November 12, 2024The dimensions for each individual seat are listed on the product pages, in the description, and so we'd suggest measuring your seat, and comparing those measurements to those of the individual seats on their product pages.
